No luck anywhere else, so here I go: I'm looking for anything sang by Johnny, if possible in studio, or maybe live would do, specially if he talks to the audience. Mp3, WMA, Mp4... Something easy. Thank you!

I have a radio interview with songs (inc 2 live acoustic ones) from a USA show he did while plugging the healers' tour. If I can find the cd....

Couldn't find the CD but I had these on my mp3 player; Don't Think Twice, it's Alright and Something to Shout About, both live, acoustic with some intro speaking.

To be honest I thought searching for anything older than a week was useless due to expiration problems, but I just did and one of them is good (!!) Thank you

Meat Is Murder with the Pretenders (but he sounds way better when he sings his own stuff... this sounded weird, but you know what I mean :o) There is also a video of this performance somewhere, maybe even on YouTube?

Thank you very much. I Youtube Johnny every chance I get, but I'm interested in his voice at night so I'm burning a cd to listen to in bed... The Interview was THE BEST! I love his speaking voice, like Morrissey's.

Here, this might be of interest:

Morrissey lectures on how to make tea, but sort of loses the plot towards the end. Don't try this at home...

Do you have the Aylesbury Testicles Incident? I put it up on my LJ a while back, before I realised you had probs with MegaUpload. It's quite funny (although not for Morrissey, who struggles manfully on with 'Tomorrow' whilst nursing his stricken nadgers) and there's some talk at the end. I can rummage for that if you like.

I never had the chance to download it, no! It's still in my memories at LJ but no use... Please do!

I already did - then remembered about the region thing. Can you play region 2 on any of your equipment? I'm afraid I don't know how to de-region it. :(

EDIT!!! Oh, sorry, I thought we were talking about 'A Taste of Honey' on DVD! I'll email you the file for the testicles thing.

I've put the song up in a new thread on this forum, instead. It's on Savefile.

Yes indeed, Johnny singing "Meat Is Murder" with the Pretenders is on YouTube:

I LOVE this performance - Johnny's never going to outshine Morrissey as a singer, but it's just lovely and cool to hear him sing a Smiths song. Love the guitar freak-out at the end too. :)

There are also quite a few clips on YouTube of Johnny with Modest Mouse. He's just playing rhythm though, which seems like a waste. I mean, you have JOHNNY frickin' MARR in your band, and you have him strumming almost inaudibly?! I don't get it.
