CemetryGates December 31, 2006, 07:49 PM You are missing is: I Just Want To See The Boy Happy (Mexico 16 Nov. 2006 [Download Only]) - Which I will post for you. This was a download only release and was mislabeled as being from Chicago.
I cannot believe you have all the versions of The Youngest Was The Most Loved. Would you consider posting a couple of them?...I'm personally interested in getting the Sheffield and Alexandra Palace versions. Those seem to be the only two that are not out there on download sites.
UPDATE:

I'll post those later
Have-A-Go Merchant January 1, 2007, 12:15 AM Thanks for the track and the information, Cemetry Gates. I'm more than willing to give you the tracks you need but i've never uploaded anything before so I need to find out how. Did you notice I've added another track to my original list; I Want The One I Can't Have - Live From Paris 2002. This is another iTunes exclusive download only track. All the live versions of The Youngest Was The Most Loved are on iTunes in the UK.
CemetryGates January 1, 2007, 01:22 AM When did this version of I Want The One I Can't Have from Paris come out?...Is it possibly the same version that's listed as Royal Albert Hall 2002, maybe another case of an incorrect label?...I've never seen it listed anywhere before.
As for the tracks on iTunes UK. I'm not in the UK so I'm not allowed to access the files and my country's download shops don't carry them. So, if you're ok with sending them (no pressure) I recommend using www.sendspace.com to post them. I really only want the Alexandra Palace & Sheffield tracks.
Basically you just select the file you want to upload by hitting the "Browse" button and selecting it from where it's saved on your computer & click OPEN. Then you just have to check the little box that says you agree to the terms of service etc. and click UPLOAD FILE. Wait for it to finish. Once it's done the page will display a link that you can then post on here so we can get a copy of what you uploaded. Great!...
Godlovesugly January 1, 2007, 04:04 AM Here's the paris version....and there is hardly any difference!
Not much point releasing this when its so similar.
Download (happy new year by the way) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/tggqae)
I'd like to take this chance to ask if anyone has from "Morrissey presents the return of the new york dolls" this song..."You cant put your arms aroung a memory/lonely planet boy"
I have the dvd and even downloaded this song legally but its protectected and i cant do anything with it....anyone help, please?
Stefan Krix January 2, 2007, 02:51 PM Thanks for sharing all this files: but i really like to know more about that Paris version - on which platform could you download this? I have not listened to both versions in question yet, but i do wonder if this isn't another Live In Mexico / Live In Chicago communication problem.
Maybe someone just wanted to cash-in with an old 2002 bootleg .mp3??
As there are so many different platforms to download those exclusive tracks; who can say what it official?
Not Right in the Head January 2, 2007, 04:22 PM FYI, I found (supposedly legal) downloads for TYWTML at Alexandra Palace and Sheffield at Bleep.com. These are 320KBPS for $1.35 'Mercan. They're also at Wippit.com and puretracks.ca (as others have pointed out), but neither would let me order them after I said that I was in the U.S. (despite Wippit claiming that the buyer's country didn't matter).

Damn, this is the first I'd heard of the Paris version! And despite the warning that it's barely different from the RAH version, I just grabbed it from iTunes USA. If I wasn't deterred from wasting $8 on the 6 indistinguishable live versions of TYWTML, why should this one? :)

I agree with you that it's confusing, but in any event, I'm sure from iTunes or MorrisseyMusic.com is as official as it gets.
How did the OP know that the Live in Paris version is from 2002 (other than the fact that all the other live versions are from 2002, and that Passions doesn't seem to list the song being performed at any Paris dates in 2004 & 2006)? The downloaded song's meta-information doesn't say anything interesting.

It says on itunes that there is a special iTunes only version of i want the one i can't have from paris. so i downloaded that from there...and as far as i know its from 2002 as he played it then....in paris twice.
CemetryGates January 2, 2007, 07:29 PM I compared the two versions of IWTOICH and I found some differences in them, as I too was fearful that they might be the same version just with incorrect information attatched.
One main way to tell the difference is the last few seconds of the track where he says "Thank you", it's quite different on both tracks.

I tried two of them and they would not work for me, I was able to just listen on Bleep, but not buy. Puretracks.ca doesn't have the 2 live versions from Sheffield and Alexandra Palace, just the other 4, which pisses me off because those are the 2 that are hardest to find. I'm sure the other 4 will show up on here after a while, but these 2 seem to want to hide...

I thought there was no drum stick hitting (lol don't know the musical term) at the start of one of them and at the end of one of them morrissey talks in a strange voice unlike the other one?
CemetryGates January 2, 2007, 07:43 PM Yeah, I don't know about the drum stick thing, but he does change his voice at the end of one of them. The performance sounds pretty much the same but I really think they are different. Guess after singing them for so long they tend to come off about the same.

I just tried to compare them again and i've lost the albert hall one....argh!!
so annoying!
O.k i found it....comparing it now.
Yeah on the albert hall one...there's no "1-2-3-4" count thing with the drumsticks
and on the paris one there is.
The albert hall version morrissey says "thank you, thank you friends" then as it fades out another "thank you" but on the paris one he says "thank you, *in a funny voice* thank you thank you" then as it fades out he goes "ohhh"

What country are you in? I had some problems with cookies & JavaScript (normally I block them all), but after fiddling with them a bit I was able to create an account and buy them. What happened when you tried it?
