Here are the rarities for those interested:

james singles 1 (http://www.savefile.com/files/222749) - Village Fire EP, Chain Mail (7'' release with two songs, and I added 'Uprising' as there was a 12'' issue of Chain Mail which included that song) and Come Home (Rough Trade '89).

james singles 2 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GVUMZRR0) - So Many Ways (1986), What For (1988) and Ya Ho (1988).

And a small note - only Come Home was on Rough Trade (other than Sit Down), others were released on Factory and Sire. :D

James - One Man Clapping (1989) (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GIX4COPG)

Enjoy :)

EDIT: sendspace link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/uke1qc

INFO:

One Man Clapping was the third album from English band James, a live album released in March 1989. The album was recorded at the Moles Club, Bath, UK on the 14th and 15th November 1988. The album was issued on their own One Man imprint of Rough Trade Records, after parting company with Blanco y Negro/Sire. To fund the album, the band had to borrow £12,000 from the Royal Bank of Scotland. Initially, the bank manager was not willing to lend the band the money, but after seeing them live in Manchester he agreed.

Because the album was self-funded, only 10,000 CD copies were produced; this has made the album highly sought after by collectors. Copies have been known to trade hands on eBay for in excess of £100.

Does anyone know how to put live recordings on cd without 2 or 3 seconds of silence between songs?
Thanks.

Some do it automatically, if you use nero double click the track (you'll then get options. where it says seconds gaps. delete the 2 and put 0 for all tracks except the first track. hope that helps).
can't wait to hear the james stuff. :)

It happens when a download finishes before it should. For exapmle, when it happens at say 97 % of the file completed, you get one or two corrupted files. If it happens at less percentage, you get more. It has to do with your connection quality, and also with the quality and speed of the server from which you are downloading.

Sorry to be so annoying... I'm trying to determine if there's something wrong with my computer. I just downloaded one of the Morrissey shows (Austin) and it downloaded very fast / no problems. The B-sides Pt 3 and Make You Alright, complete their downloads relatively slow, but Make You Alright is incomplete at only 1MB and the Bsides zip only downloads about 2 MB and then stops. I tried it like 3 times for each one. I'm wondering if it's a problem with Store and Serve, because all of the other file hosts seem to not give me any trouble.

Hey everyone! 'Out To Get You' was originally a b-side to 'Lose Control.' I have never heard this original version, which is apparently much different than the version on Laid. Does anyone have it?

Thanks!

Hi folks, I have been chasing a copy of one hand clapping for years I lost my original during a move to Australia. I found this thread on my search, if anyone can help me out I would be reaaly grateful?! Also if any of the early 12"s (pre stripmining) are available that would be awesome. Im particularly after Chainmail.

Thanks for any help.
