How do you dress?

May seem like an odd question, but nevertheless, what are your typical dress habits? I ask because recently I've been giving more thought about what suits me and what doesn't, aswell as how I want people to perceive me when they see me, which usually depends somewhat on how I dress myself? So, I'm basically just asking out of curiosity. For some, clothes are important if they want to make a statement, then their's those who revel in fashion or those on the opposite side of the fence who just dont care and throw on whatever.

For me, I like shirts, generally black, sometimes pink if I'm feeling happy. I also like tweed jackets, jeans, scarfs etc.

white t shirts, clockwork orange t shirt,mr bungle,t shirt, and some polo neck shirt ones...usually with white suspenders, and jeans , some of them black,others blue, others with holes... suit jackets ....and when it's cold with poncho or a coat...and mostly everytime with violent boots

LOL!!! When my friend got married I went dress shopping with her, and I was so tempted to try one on! It was just so girly and frilly!

I forgot to say how I dress! My current best things in the world are boy fit jeans, I love them, they're so comfey! For school, I dress like a teacher: smart trousers, plain tops, nice shoes, but still quite cool. And I like to wear the odd dress. My cowboy boots are my pride and joy.

me: straight legged jeans, white v neck t shirts, black or white shirts, biker jacket, black coat, suit jackets, chelsea boots, converse, black jumpers. mostly clothes in darker colours.

Usually a nice shirt under a neutral jumper. All neat. I hate anything slightly baggy. That over jeans, throw on a tie if I feel like it. I get all my clothes free anyway.

I wear the first thing I find in the morning, some weird combinations sometimes! Anyway, I don't find clothes interesting, so I seldom buy my clothes myself..
It can be kind of embarrasing sometimes, my friends wear very nice clothes, or "hippie"-dresses or.. just look good, and I can't remember last time I looked in the mirror... But I DO try to not wear socks in sandals and so on... :)

I wear mostly black and white, not too many colours for some reason. Since I'm skint I tend to wear the same thing over and over until the item is almost unrecognisable from when it was purchased, jeans being a good example.

Jeans or black pants. T-shirts... And I have a strange obsession with baggy cardigans. On the feet, my trashed pink gingham Converse all stars that now look gray. And I hardly ever go out without my hairband (red plastic with two green ducks on it, meant for 4 year olds). I love pairing that with my Sex Pistols t-shirt, makes people stare a little.

Nothing really fits me. I'm small and short. Our hero wrote a song about being impeccably dressed but still not able to walk tall.

I gave up having a style of my own, or to create one, years ago. I usually go at stores like H&M, Benetton, and Celio, look at one maniquine I 'like', and I ask the clerk: 'I'm taking all this' (pointing at the maniquine): trousers, shirt, jumper, belt, hat, you name it...all that the plastic bloke is wearing. This way I'm sure all the things are matching, no trouble with colours, shapes... If they have the right size, I'm done.
Lately I tend to throw away my clothes every two years.

I also buy two-three hand made, customized italian suits every 3 years... They are not cheap.

today I flounced around in a dandy fashion in a bundle of clothes, I thought wouldn't mix, but did.

well at the start of the week i was wearing black regular fit jeans, tan coloured ankle boots, white ben sherman, grey three button jacket with a tan coloured pin stripe. long black rain coat and multi coloured scarf.

the next day i was wearing a sky blue ben sherman shirt with the above.

then i was wearing a chocolate brown three button jacket, with a blue cab shirt, black western five pocket jeans, black chelsea boots.

that's a great point!!! never thought of it! although, i must admit that when i found out morrissey loves the smell of lavender and that he actually smells like it, i went out and purchased a bottle of yardley's english lavender and sprayed my entire bed with it. and then i played vauxall and i and sobbed, uncontrolably :D ;)

I'm a very boring dresser.

Black, violet, blue or green shirts (all plain unless a lacy fringe around the collars and sleeves. Short for the summer and sweaters for the winter).

Black skirts and paints only.

I do not wear highish heels but, I do have a couple of black pairs. If I go casual, I have black leather Keds. I do NOT wear sandals or flip-flops b/c I DISPISE any "foot fetish". As soon as the cool weather hits, my boots come out!!! I LOVE LOVE boots!
