My avatar is one of my fave photos of Moz holding an unlit cigarette in his mouth. This gives me the illusion that he's not so rigid about smoking afterall, though I know he is (which is fine because I'm sure we'll never really get to spend time together so I can continue smoking as much as I please).
I'm now on a hunt for the next best avatar as I find this one to be quite unimpressionable when sized like this. Also seeking for more color so, oranges, reds, yellows anyone?

Yes. You can, alternatively, use Screenhunter (http://www.wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm) to highlight and capture the rectilinear area around the image, and then upload the resultant jpg to Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/).
That is, if you want to be cool like me. :)

It's a 45rpm spindle adapter that would allow you to play 45s records on a standard turntable, which usually came with their own adapters but always seemed to get stepped on or kicked under the bed. The yellow thingys were primarily used out of desparation.
There are better ones on the market, but they don't look this stylish. :p

It is a picture of David Sedaris. I find him to be tragically funny. I find that humor in person is easy, humor on paper is genius.

That's so true. I can't count how many times I've either been advised by a friend to get/just picked up some allegedly funny authors' books and been really disappointed (Bill Bryson? Puh-lease...). Not only does Sedaris achieve that, he also adds, sparingly, genuine emotion. I mean, I was literally sobbing towards the end of the chapter in (I think it's) Naked which recounts his mother's funeral. He speaks so lovingly of her and doesn't draw it out, it's achingly beautiful.
Have you heard when This American Life is out? This year, maybe?

But there aren't a lot of wolves left yet? I can't imagine wolves being here in Europe! Well, maybe up north in the forests!
Not in the North. But in the South, yes. We still have them, there are wolves in Balkan forests. They're also in East/North East - parts of former USSR, Russia, Armenia etc. But they're extinct in the whole of Central and Western Europe.
There are also wolves in Alaska and Canada.

That has actually made the picture so much more interesting. It seemed very stereotypical and boring when it looked like she was consoling him.

I dont think I could manage to look so apathetic if being photographed naked, maybe it is just me.
On a related note, I was going to see him late this month in Ann Arbor until I realized that my wife should be delivering our third child about then...I dont suppose they sell rufus concert tshirts as baby ones-ies.

Heh... I love how the front one looks so elegantly nonchalant, but in the back photo he's standing like an old woman. Honestly, I've never been hugely attracted to Rufus (there's this weird wall between any of my favourite artists and my libido for some reason), but those photos are kind of changing that.
Pity about the gig cancellation, though. Can't you just ask your wife to at least hold it in for your sake (it works like pee, right?) or, you know, not go to this one? Seen one, seen 'em all, surely?

First to Robby, yes three, they are pretty easy to aquire. :D
Dazzak, I have never been attracted to him either...but I do occasionally wonder if I could pull off having rufus hair, not the creepy greasy long hair he sometimes has but Want One hair. I do often marvel at the irony, but for being gay, he sure can sing like a mother fucker.

I swear I was just looking at his hair today (gayest sentence I've ever typed). I really could not get away with the gorgeous Want One era hair:

As for his, erm, newer "unkempt" hair, I think he just wanted to look older and less cute.
