^overrated!



(I think You have used that word Yourself sometimes - I know I copied the above from other thread and I do Think Ryan is overrated.)

Indeed, he's terribly overrated (especially "Summer of the 69").

I used to really like him and still think 'Heartbreaker' and 'Gold' are incredible albums.
But I was disillusioned by too many gigs where he came on stage late, didn't even acknowledge the presence of the audience, drank all the way through....
Yes, I know I sound like my Mother, but there's no excuse for bad manners, no matter how good (you think) you are! ;)
You sort of expect a bit more when you've missed the last train home.

Very big Ryan fan. Heartbreaker, Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights (to name a few) are brilliant albums. His albums with Whiskeytown are fantastic too.

Well, anyone who thinks that obviously doesn't know anything about Ryan Adams. Bryan Adams is a hack.

Ryan is the bomb. ColdRoses, Strangers Almanac, Kingston show (Easy Tiger preview)- the guy's the real deal, a frickin' genius, I for one can't wait to hear the new disc. And I'm prayin' for the box set that might see the light of day at Xmas.
