Hi all. I recorded Exit Festival live(mp3 file). This is not a perfect one,

I've taken the copy that was so kindly shared and meticulously edited out the gaps caused by the buffering. In many cases I was able to make it seamless, but in a few instances there were bits that were actually lost/cut off in the original file. However, I now have a "gapless" file.

I also fixed the issue with the left and right channels being out of balance. I then bumped up the volume a bit to compensate for this and, I think, it sounds great.

If I uploaded this, would someone volunteer to split the file into individual tracks, label the tracks and reupload this? I'd do it, but I'm not sure I have the time.

Between all of us - the original person who so kindly recorded and shared this show, my work and the work of the person who will make individual tracks - we'll have a great show.

Anyone interested?

My download stopped at 31mins 30secs. I have just started downloading again. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it just me?

I have just downloaded it and I am very pleased! Thank you so much! ;)

I watched RTS1 on-line. At first, I tried to record the video but failed, so I recorded the audio by mp3 recorder. That’s the reason why Intro and fast half of “How Soon Is Now” were missed.

It is very kind of you, thank you very much. Sounds great. I should have split the file into individual tracks but I was bit tired and I couldn’t do it this time. I’ll take care of it next time.

Thanks for the effort. Fortunately there is a complete DVD version going around taken from the satellite broadcast, so it should be an improvement over this without the gaps and loss data.

I'd be glad to, but I'm stuck at 99.8% on the torrent and can't download the rest. Ugh.

Go back to the thread on smithstorrents. The original poster added 3 files that the torrent won't complete. Swap out the .ifo and .bup files, and you're all set to burn.

how do you open a .rar file???

unrulyboy
July 16, 2006, 11:30 AM
.RAR files are compressed. You need software like WinRAR to unzip them. You can find it online. They may have started charging for WinRAR, but I'm sure you can find a freeware program to help.

Good luck!

Hmm you don't send the rest of the show. Is it because Shakespeare's Sister already sent it all? If so, keep it a secret but, yours was in better quality, both audio and video. If you have time, please send the rest, 2 songs at a time is more than enough :)
