Wow, you claiming I'm not worthy of you making peace with me?
do you even read your own posts?
YOU Kui! You cynically tried to corrode the positive sentiment of my posts
and while I may understand why this is so
for your denial to stretch to not actually reading the sequence of posts and
your NOW CONSTANT ATTACK 1ST behavior evident in them
is well
wow
i do not know
i am going to blame it on your age and not faith

Penitent
by
Suzanne Vega

lyrics:

Once I stood alone so proud
held myself above the crowd
now I am low on the ground.

From here I look around to see
what avenues belong to me
I can't tell what ive found.

Now what would you have me do
I ask you please?
I wait to hear.

The mother, and the matador,
the mystic, all were here before,
like me, to stare you down.

You appear without a face,
disappear, but leave your trace,
I feel your unseen frown.

Now what would you have me do
I ask you please?
I wait to hear
your voice,
the word,
you say.
I wait to see your sign
would I
obey?

I look for you in heathered moor,
the desert, and the ocean floor
how low does one heart go.

looking for your fingerprints
I find them in coincidence,
and make my faith to grow.

Forgive me all my blindnesses
my weakness and unkindnesses
as yet unbending still.

struggling so hard to see
my fist against eternity
and will you break my will?

Now what would you have me do
I ask you please?
I wait to hear
your voice,
the word
you say
I wait
to see your sign
could I
obey?

Cynically corrode? Did YOU read the sequence of posts? Go back and read them again. You talk about me acting inappropriately, and I briefly explain that you seem to be flamebaiting me. Then you claim to be acting sincere, and I say I have no reason to trust you but I want to. Then you claim to try to be unbiased and accuse me of being biased. I explain the three possible reasons why you were apparently acting nicer. Then you say I am unworthy of you making peace with me.

Constant attack first? Are you demented, Robby? Can't you remember anything from more than 3 days ago? You were always starting everything, and when things ever died down, you would start things back up again. Only recently I have decided to really expose how vile what you have said is. That's all I'm ever doing: exposing what you said and exposing your current posts. I'm not "attacking" you and there's no way I could be "first" in doing so. I merely expose the despicable things you say.

And don't start acting all condescending because of my age. You know nothing of my life and it will stay that way: it is none of your business and you are too thick-skulled to understand any of it, but my age hardly reflects what I've been through and had to deal with.

So I'm offering you again. Do you want to stop fighting with me? Wait, no, that's not quite accurate. Do you want to stop fighting me? I'll be your best friend in an instant, but you have to be less an abusive hater.

Oh my god, it's Robby!

dude, you have exposed nothing
i have been in message contact with multiple(no, i do not mean Chica) that have noticed the change in your posts and increased level of hostility to a wide varying threads
sad, you do not see it
but i was just more responding to the implied guilt i should feel for turning 'Kui into a dick'
no those are not my words
i am really not trtying to insult you

once again i am giving you a greater allowance for the juvenile denial i clearly see growing in your posts
besides
i am actually not endeavoring to change your mind
to do so would imply that I value your opinion or judgements
and I long ago made it a policy to value the words of people of your ilk
against the reality of what those beliefs manifest in both the real world

dude, you have exposed nothing

Yes I have. I have exposed certain trends in your posts, noticed how your demeanor changes.

i have been in message contact with multiple(no, i do not mean Chica) that have noticed the change in your posts and increased level of hostility to a wide varying threads

I don't know what Chica has to do with anything, but to be honest I don't really care about "public opinion". Public opinion is ever changing and rarely values much in the way of facts, evidence, or logic (but that mostly applies to things much larger than this, obviously). My "hostility" is just defense against your harassment, a rejection of idly receiving abuse from you. Sad that you do not see what an abusive viper you are. You might have gotten used to picking on people and nothing being done in response, thus your adjustment to that way of things makes it seems like any refusal to accept your hatred rather "hostile".

sad, you do not see it
but i was just more responding to the implied guilt i should feel for turning 'Kui into a dick'
no those are not my words

Unless you are just using the nickname Kui haphazardly, you seem to be implying bikie (since she calls me that and few else do) said that. Well I have no reason to believe she would defame me like that. I am tired of you saying such vile things with regards to her, accusing me of being a would-be stalker of her, claiming I show no restraint when I could "make bikie stay".

i am really not trtying to insult you
insulting that Christian scum(kui)

just being honest

...Wow...honest...sometimes I fear for you mental health.

and as to your youth
once again i am giving you a greater allowance for the juvenile denial

See, condescending, just like I said.

i clearly see growing in your posts
besides
i am actually not endeavoring to change your mind
to do so would imply that I value your opinion or judgements
and I long ago made it a policy to value the words of people of your ilk
against the reality of what those beliefs manifest in both the real world
and online

More condescending. But the twist is, the person you consider inferior considers you equal despite you frequently attempting to forfeit your equality, and the person you deem "unworthy" of a few things considers you worthy enough of constant forgiveness and love.

and believe me Kui, Morrissey fans that do not find humor in your expressed supposed fundamentalist Christianity
and your Morrissey fandom

If people hate my religion, that's their problem. Why should I change or hide because people hate me and/or my beliefs? It's ridiculous.

are few and far between
but this dichotomy is yours to not work out
and instead project into a struggle with me :(

Me...projecting into struggle...with you? Are you forgetting, well, everything? People forget, it's natural, but you must be insane. You have been unilaterally struggling with me for months. And I constantly offer you an olive branch and friendship, and always forgive you. And I'll do it. I forgive you for all the lies and all the hate you subject me to, and I still love you, and I care deeply for you. And I'd love to make peace with you, but you refuse. But you can't change that about me, that I'll always forgive you and love you, and that I'll always be offering you more changes. It's just the kind of guy I am.

You either are trying to look like a victim because people have refused to notice how obvious your abuse is, or you are just really that forgetful but want to move on, or you just simply can't admit your venomous attitude was ever unacceptable yet still want to move on. But still, I'll be your friend if you just treating me so bad. I can live with your imperfect attitude with regards to that, because everyone myself included is imperfect, but you have to act a little more decent than this, Robby.

Oh my god, it's Robby!

lyrics:

the sun rises every morning
but why are we so sure
I'm looking out of the window
empires (arise) and fall
we've been so long together
forgotten hopes and pleasure
but when the time is right
we'll open our hearts
and disclose the treasure
so there are you
and here am I
let's realize our dream
the time is right
try to read between the lines
we've been running
over battlefields
from century to century
nothing wrong nothing right
there was no day, there was no night
we took every painfull step
life for life and side by side
but finally look around
some are lost and some are found
lass' die erinnerung erwachen!
I love you
so here are you
and here am I
let's realize our dream the time is right
I'm still waiting for you
... observe the world and think ...

Out of things to say, eh? I see right through you. Your most recent "strategy", if you could call it that without disrepecting intelligent ideas also known as strategies, was to appear all innocent and play the victim. With the intent to either "win over" the "support" of the most of the forum be appearing to be a victim, or simply because you were out of things to say in your defense, you temporarily and poorly attempted to seem more gentle and easygoing. But your plan fell apart quickly when your natural self showed through again. You are an evil, insane man, Robby. You always say, belief, and project the exact opposite of what is true. You are a dull fraud and yet you accuse me of being a phoney. You are out of touch with reality and unable to understand the basic of logic and human communication, yet you say I can't follow posts in proper sequential order. Which, by the way, shows that you don't even try any more.

You now randomly cling to various lies. One example is when, when shooting blanks as happens so often, you decided I don't get PMs, that it's a fact, and it hurts me. Then you targeted my age and thought you could try and appear all mature and like you were "taking it easy on me". Now you decide that everyone who disagrees with you isn't reading posts in order. But I cleary did, and gave a synopsis of them. Are you really that insane where you can't follow the most basic things, or are you still holding on to your plan on flamebaiting and/or irritating me to the point I leave voluntarily with such intensity, you still try to make it work every chance you get...but still fail. Which is very sad for you. I always forgive you and don't hold grudges, and I'll let you move on, I've always been allowing you to move on. So why don't you just drop this whole hate me with all your heart thing, and just act like a decent human being for once?

God Is in the House
by
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

lyrics:

We've laid the cables and the wires
We've split the wood and stoked
the fires
We've lit our town so there is no
Place for crime to hide
Our little church is painted white
And in the safety of the night
We all go quiet as a mouse
For the word is out
God is in the house
God is in the house
God is in the house
No cause for worry now
God is in the house

Moral sneaks in the White House
Computer geeks in the school house
Drug freaks in the crack house
We don't have that stuff here
We have a tiny little Force
But we need them of course
For the kittens in the trees
And at night we are on our knees
As quiet as a mouse
For God is in the house
God is in the house
God is in the house
And no one's left in doubt
God is in the house

Homos roaming the streets in packs
Queer bashers with tyre-jacks
Lesbian counter-attacks
That stuff is for the big cities
Our town is very pretty
We have a pretty little square
We have a woman for a mayor
Our policy is firm but fair
Now that God is in the house
God is in the house
God is in the house
Any day now He'll come out
God is in the house

Well-meaning little therapists
Goose-stepping twelve-stepping Tetotalitarianists
The tipsy, the reeling and the drop down pissed
We got no time for that stuff here
Zero crime and no fear
We've bred all our kittens white
So you can see them in the night
And at night we're on our knees
As quiet as a mouse
Since the word got out
From the North down to the South
For no-one's left in doubt
There's no fear about
If we all hold hands and very quietly shout
Hallelujah
God is in the house
God is in the house
Oh I wish He would come out
God is in the house

No, it's not going backwards, that wouldn't sound good. ;) Also I don't know how to do that. :o I just rearranged the songs, so the first part I heard was "The kind people have a wonderful dream", like always.

The clip show one where Homer is roasted just ended. It's not bad, I like the ending song "We're sorry for the clip show". :D A great Seinfeld just came on though, where Jerry and George do the voice "Hellooooo".

Ó, hve létt er þitt skóhljóð.
Ó, hve lengi ég beið þín.
Það er vorhret á glugga,
napur vindur sem hvín.
En ég veit eina stjörnu
eina stjörnu sem skín
og nú loks ertu kominn,
þú ert kominn til mín.

Það eru erfiðir tímar.
það er atvinnuþref.
Ég hef ekkert að bjóða
Ekki ögn sem ég gef,
nema von mína og líf mitt
hvort ég vaki eða sef,
þetta eitt sem þú gafst mér.
Það er allt sem ég hef.

En í kvöld lýkur vetri
sérhvers vinnandi manns,
og á morgun skín maísól.
Það er maísólin hans.
Það er maísólin okkar,
okkar einingarbands.
Fyrir þér ber ég fána

The May Star

Oh how quiet your steps are
oh how long I awaited,
a springsnow on a window,
a chilly wind is whizzing,
but I know one star,
one shining star,
and at last you are here,
you are here with me.

There are difficult times,
there's a labor dispute,
I’ve got nothing to offer,
not a scrap I can give,
just my hope and my life
whether awake or asleep,
this hope you gave me
it's all that I have.

Every workers winter
comes off tonight,
and tomorrow shines a May Sun,
the May Sun is his,
the May Sun is ours,
it's our solidarity string,
in front of you I carry the flag
of this land of future.

What God Wants (part I)
by
Roger Waters

lyrics:

What God wants God gets God help us all
What God wants God gets
The kid in the corner looked at the priest
And fingered his pale blue Japanese guitar
The priest said
God wants goodness
God wants light
God wants mayhem
God wants a clean fight
What God wants God gets
Don't look so surprised
It's only dogma
The alien prophet cried
The beetle and the springbok
Took the bible from its hook
The monkey in the corner
Wrote the lesson in his book
What God wants God gets God help us all
God wants peace
God wants war
God wants famine
God wants chain stories
What God wants God gets
God wants sedition
God wants sex
God wants freedom
God wants semtex
What God wants God gets
Don't look so surprised
I'm only joking
The alien comic cried
The jackass and hyena
Took the feather from its book
The monkey in the corner
Wrote the joke down his book
What God wants God gets
God wants boarders
God wants crack
God wants rainfall
God wants wetbacks
What God wants God gets
God wants voodoo
God wants shrines
God wants law
God wants organised crime
God wants crusade
God wants jihad

Tell me what to do
Help me find a way
If I was not me
I would hate me too
Just like you do
I don‘t need to need you
Tell me what to do
Tell me what to say

It‘s all made worse by a simple scheme
You‘re slipping away from me
Can‘t decide sometimes if it‘s worth the point
The point is the struggle, insecurity

Hopefully, you make no mistake
If you learn from what you‘ve got to take
Good or bad, it‘s all gonna add up in the end but,
You can never win.

And it‘s the desperation to hold on to
Something that can‘t be held on to
So, Don‘t waste your time filling up my words
Don‘t tell me why, assume the worst.

Hopefully, you make no mistake
If you learn from what you‘ve got to take
Good or bad, it‘s all gonna add up in the end but,
You can never win.

Don‘t thank me,
Don‘t tell me how,
Don‘t break me down,
Don‘t help me make it,

I don‘t need to need you
Tell me what to do
Tell me what to say
Don‘t you wanna help me
Tell me what to do
Help me find a way

Ladies and Gentlemen...
The President of the United States!
*"Fella Americans...Doot, Doot, Doot..."*
He's been sick!--Doot! Doot!
And I think his wife is gonna bring him
Some chicken soap
Plastic people!
Oh, baby, now you're such a drag

I know it's hard to defend an unpopular policy
Every once in a while--

Plastic people!
Oh, baby, now you're such a drag

And there's this guy from the CIA he's creepin'
Around Laurel Canyon
A fine little girl She waits for me
She's as plastic as she can be
She paints her face With plastic goo
And wrecks her hair With some shampoo

Plastic people
Oh, baby, now you're such a drag

"I dunno...sometimes I just get tired
Of ya honey--it's...ah..your
Hair spray...or something..."

Plastic people
Oh, baby, now you're such a drag

"I hear the sound of marching feet...
down Sunset Boulevard to Crescent Heights
...and there...at Pandora's box...
We are confronted with...a vast
Quantity of...Plastic people..."
Take a day and walk around
Watch the Nazi's Run your town
Then go home and check yourself
You think we're singing
'Bout someone else

But you're Plastic people
Oh, Baby, now
You're such a drag

Me see a neon Moon above
I searched for years I found no love
I'm sure that love Will never be
A product of Plasticity
A product of Plasticity
PLASTIC, PLASTIC PEOPLE--PLA-HA-HA-HA
HA-PLASTIC--You are--your foot--your hair
--your nose--your arms--you suck--you love
--you are--your being is--you're plastic--blah
--blah--blah--blah plastic Peoples
-A prune is not a vegetable
--cabbage is a vegetable; makes it O.K.
--plastic people--plastic People
--you dream about...you think about...you eat
...you are...Ooo-Hoo-Hoo...
purple prancing--plastic People-

Judgement
by
L'ame Immortelle

lyrics:

Standing still here for a moment
Breath held tightly in my body
A world that's growing darker
Not worth a longer stay

All the wisdom that I earn
Can't make a change to this state
As I lay down my spirit's arms
On my knees to seal my fate

I cast my hopes into the waters
Awaiting judgement from the sea
And some day the tide will rise
Up so high to swallow me

Collapsing pride and fading joy
Are marking my capitulation
Top a world that cries in pain
And slowly dies in misery

Come the demons of my soul
To carry my sane mind away
I'm just a noble sir of honour
Who has left it's way

I cast my hopes into the waters
Awaiting judgement from the sea
And some day the tide will rise
Up so high to swallow me

Ich Bin Ein Auslander
by
Pop Will Eat Itself

lyrics:

Listen to the victim, abused by the system
The basis is racist, you know that we must face this.
It can't happen here. Oh yeah?
Take a look around at the cities and the towns.
See them hunting, creeping, sneaking
Breeding fear and loathing with the lies they're speaking
The knife, the gun, broken bottle, petrol bomb
There is no future when the past soon come.
And when they come to ethnically cleanse me
Will you speak out? Will you defend me?
Or laugh through a glass eye as they rape our lives
Trampled underfoot by the right on the rise
[CHORUS}
[s]You call us.......Ich Bin Ein Auslander (x4)
Welcome to a state where the politics of hate
Shout loud in the crowd Watch them beat us all down
There's a rising tide in the rivers of blood
But if the answer isn't violence, neither is your silence
If they come to ethnically cleanse me
Will you speak out? Will you defend me?
Freedom of expression doesn't make it alright
Trampled underfoot by the rise of the right
[CHORUS]
Ich Bin Ein Auslander. (x8

lyrics:

Are those num-chucks in your pants or are you just happy to see me?
Let me take you back to the day that I met my China girl
When I landed a 'Pam' like on the San Fran Real World
I was sweating like a vegetable inside of a wok
I'd never been to Asia Minor but I was gonna Bangkok
Like Kristy Yamaguchi I had to break the ice
Should I talk about Mothra M*A*S*H or shrimp-fried rice?
I was sharp as a Chinese star but it's a line I threw
Just thirty seconds over Tokyo and this Johnny would Woo
I took a shot like Jeanette Lee put on my moves like Bruce Lee
I told he every Soon Yi needs a little Woody
She said for all the tea in China my vagina's not free
But my love will linger longer than the Ming Dynasty
I said I needed her to do and her to do my laundry
I knew she needed a way to stay legally within the country
She was made in Taiwan I said I'm O.K. with that
Just promise me you'll never try to eat my cat
Chinky chinky bang bang I love you
Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too
In Japan the hand is used as a knife
In Japan a man's wife's hand job than can cost him his life
But now this Captain Kirk has his own Sulu
I'll shampoo her Foo Man Chu with Lo Hung Wang Goo
Cause I ride my slant-eyed slope like a brand new Kawasaki
Oh me chinky she's so kinky got me hot like Nagasaki
Burnin' up like Napalm burstin' like an A-bomb
I think I got that jungle fever but I caught it in 'Nam
She's like an oriental rug cause I lay her where I please
Then I blindfold her with dental floss and get down on her knees
I'm a diving Kamikaze eating out Chinese
First I'll have the poo-poo platter than some tuna sushi
She'll be screaming like Godzilla and kickin' like Jackie Chan
I'll get her redder than China wetter than the Sea of Japan
Like the Chinese New Year she's gonna see fireworks
Now be a good chinky and press Jimmy's shirts
Chinky chinky bang bang I love you
Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too
Sing chinky sing
One more time
Chinky chinky bang bang I love you
Chinky chinky bang bang I know you love me too
Chinky chinky bang bang chinky bang
Chinky chinky bang biddily biddily biddily bang

the killer: on top

Remember Rio and get down
It's another DJ, it's another town
She's been trying to tell me to hold tight
But I've been waiting this whole night
But I've been down across the road or two
But now I've found the velvet sun
That shines on me and you

In the back, uh huh, I can't crack
We're on top
It's just a shimmy and a shack, uh huh
I can't fake, we're on top
We're on top

The day is breaking, we're still here
Your body's shaking, and it's clear
You really need it, so let go
And let me beat it, but you know

That I've been down across the road or two
But now I've found the velvet sun
That shines on me and you

In the back, uh huh, I can't crack
We're on top
It's just a shimmy and a shack, uh huh
I can't fake, we're on top
We're on top
We bring the bump to the grind, uh huh
I don't mind, we're on top
It's just a shimmy and a shack, uh huh
I can't fake, we're on top
We're on top

And we don't mean to satisfy tonight
So get your eyes off my bride tonight
Cause I don't need to satisfy tonight

It's like a cigarette in the mouth
Or a handshake in the doorway
I look at you and smile because I'm fine

And we don't mean to satisfy tonight
So get your eyes off my bride tonight
Cause I don't need to satisfy tonight

It's like a cigarette in the mouth

Still Don't Give a Fuck
by
Eminem

lyrics:

[Eminem]
A lot of people ask me.. am I afraid of death..
Hell yeah I'm afraid of death
I don't want to die yet
A lot of people think.. that I worship the devil..
that I do all types of.. retarded shit
Look, I can't change the way I think
And I can't change the way I am
But if I offended you? Good
Cause I still don't give a fuck

I'm zonin off of one joint, stoppin a limo
Hopped in the window, shoppin a demo at gunpoint
A lyricist without a clue, what year is this?
Fuck a needle, here's a sword, bodypierce with this
Livin amuk, never givin a fuck
Gimme the keys I'm drunk, and I've never driven a truck
But I smoke dope in a cab
I'll stab you with the sharpest knife I can grab
Come back the next week and re-open your scab (YEAH!)
A killer instinct runs in the blood
Emptyin full clips and buryin guns in the mud
I've calmed down now -- I was heavy once into drugs
I could walk around straight for two months with a buzz
My brain's gone, my soul's worn and my spirit is torn
The rest of my body's still bein operated on
I'm ducked the fuck down while I'm writin this rhyme
Cause I'm probably gonna get struck with lightnin this time

[Chorus:]

For all the weed that I've smoked - yo this blunt's for you
To all the people I've offended - yeah fuck you too!
To all the friends I used to have - yo I miss my past
But the rest of you assholes can KISS MY ASS
For all the drugs that I've done - yo I'm still gon' do
To all the people I've offended - yeah fuck you too!
For everytime I reminisce - yo I miss my past
But I still don't give a fuck, y'all can KISS MY ASS

[Eminem]
I walked into a gunfight with a knife to kill you
And cut you so fast when your blood spilled it was still blue
I'll hang you til you dangle and chain you with both ankles
And pull you apart from both angles
I wanna crush your skull til your brains leaks out of your veins
And bust open like broken water mains
So tell Saddam not to bother with makin another bomb
Cause I'm crushin the whole world in my palm
Got your girl on my arm and I'm armed with a firearm
So big my entire arm is a giant firebomb
Buy your mom a shirt with a Slim Shady iron-on
And the pants to match ("Here momma try em on")
I get imaginative with a mouth full of adjectives,
a brain full of adverbs, and a box full of laxatives
(Shittin on rappers) Causin hospital accidents
God help me before I commit some irresponsible acts again

[Chorus]

[Eminem]
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it
Spend a million a track and went over my budget (Ohh shit!)
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore - I just murdered the alphabet
Drug sickness got me doin some bugged twitches
I'm withdrawn from crack so bad my blood itches
I don't rap to get the women - fuck bitches
Give me a fat slut that cooks and does dishes
Never ran with a click - I'm a posse
Kamikaze, strappin a motherfuckin bomb across me
From the second I was born, my momma lost me
I'm a cross between Manson, Esham and Ozzy
I don't know why the fuck I'm here in the first place
My worst day on this earth was my first birthday
Retarded? What did that nurse say? Brain damage?
Fuck, I was born during the earthquake

[Chorus]

Oh my god, it's Robby!

lyrics:

At the end of days, at the end of time,
when the Sun burns out, will any of this matter?
Who will be there to remember who we were?
Who will be there to know that any of this had meaning for us?

And in retrospect I'll say we've done no wrong.
Who are we to judge what's right and what has purpose for us?
With designs upon ourselves to do no wrong,
running wild, unaware of what might come of us.

The Sun was born, so it shall die,
'til only shadows comfort me.
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me.
Each day shall end as it begins
and though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me.

(repeat)

Without a thought I will see everything eternal,
forget that once we were just dust from heavens far.
As we were forged we shall return, perhaps some day,
I will remember us and wonder who we were.

The Sun was born, so it shall die,
'til only shadows comfort me.
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me.
Each day shall end as it begins
and though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me.

Oh that's right, you play the bass. What are some of the other songs you're interested in learning the bass to? As you are well aware I play the piano/keyboard and once knew how to play Asleep. ;) I also want to learn/re-learn A Rush and a Push, Oscillate, Trouble, and the beginning part of Pigsty, maybe the piano to Meat is Murder too...

Yeah I do, haven't learned completely though. One of the other ones that I would really like to learn to play is Rubber Ring. I know, I have the feeling your a really good piano player, you know you are.;) Oscillate Wildly is a great song to learn.

Yes, Rubber Ring has a great bassline. ;) I'm not very good at playing the piano. :o Despite years of being "taught" (we've gone over how bad "teaching" is ;)) how to read sheet music, I still can't do it fast enough to keep up with the music. But I can learn songs and remember them, I just couldn't read how to play them. So I can play the songs I remember well, but no respected music teacher would dare say I am at all "good" at it. :D

I Want the One I Can't Have (I'm listening to all the albums backwards in reverse chronological order, and I'm nearing the end here, just two songs and one album left...)

Strange Fear

Aww, don't say that, your teachers probably do think your good. Remembering how to play a song is being good even if you forget after.;)

Yes, exactly like that time when I listened to Viva Hate backwards. I planned on doing all the albums backwards, and I am almost finished. I'm gonna listen to The Smiths backwards later tonight. I think that Ringleader and Southpaw sound the most consistent and work the best backwards. Most of them actually still sound good, they flow well still.

I know a store that shines nightopen
I made some promises and broke them
I know there's something out there klicking
with your hearts deepest wish still kicking
to get out tonight
let's go out tonight

to a feeling of never coming back
never coming back

I fell for what others deserted
crawled down to its heart
sprawled and knew I'd come to hurt it

I was taken for a ride
I was dropped of sore eyed
laundry hanging out to dry
waved at me as I walked by
on warm asphalt
for a second I felt comfort of some sort
a feeling of never coming back
never coming back

I failed where others wouldn't try
crawled down to its heart
because it wouldn't keep me in mind

Dinah Washington- A Foggy Day

I was a stranger in the city
Out of town were the people I knew
I had that feeling of self-pity
What to do? What to do? What to do?
The outlook was decidedly blue
But as I walked through the foggy streets alone
It turned out to be the luckiest day I've known

A foggy day in London Town
Had me low and had me down
I viewed the morning with alarm
The British Museum had lost its charm
How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles hadn't passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there
And through foggy London Town
The sun was shining everywhere.

....

I always thought it was

to live like that
out of everybody's way
and lie down upon a sunfresh trace
of a warm embrace
until it's gone
I admit
sometimes people make me

first silence soon another
in between we lose track of eachother
so I shiver to forget them all
I don't feel related
to any truth that's naked

and in the river,
leaves that lost their air
so beautiful to see it overflow
and drown, everyone
and then it's gone
then the moment's gone

first silence soon another
it always tracks me down
no questions asked
no answers around

time pauses
for the pain it causes
there is no reply

the gulls are quiet today
assembling past mistakes

I was lost I felt caught
stayed indoors counting hailstorms
stepped back
down reduced from friend to acquaintance
summoned up in one short sentence
failed and bitter

in the afternoon rain
my heart's a trial, a boring revival
getting thankfully wasted again
in the afternoon rain
getting thankfully wasted again

(Lord, It's Hard to be Happy When You're Not) Using the Metric System
by
Atom and His Package

lyrics:

12 inches per foot
two pints per quart
why don't we make it easy?
The English system of measurement must relate to history.
We can use units of 10 and convert with ease like all the other countries.
I am in command yes
I am taking a stand from this disease we must be free.
good god!
You're drunk with your tradition that has no validity
well I'm intoxicated with sports in metrics
come drink a deciliter with me
we want metrics
we want it now
we know we can win
I weigh 170 pounds
that's 90 kilograms
see metrics can even make you thin
all cool things are in metrics
for example
here's just one
I've got my 9
http://www.impactguns.com/store/media/ber_92f.jpg
well that's 9 millimeters
sounds cooler than my point two seventy inches gun.
The president will not exist
and they will call me communist
and call me scum but its worth it
Canadians will think we are smart
or at least they will think we are not as dumb.
your tradition that has no validity
well
I'm intoxicated with sports in metrics
come drink a deciliter with me
we want metrics
we want it now
we know we can win
I weigh 170 pounds
that's 90 kilograms
see metrics can even make you thin
the revolution is here
we must overcome at last
as we symbolically stick their fucking foot up their fucking ass
guitar!
Your tradition that has no validity
well
I'm intoxicated with sports in metrics
come drink a deciliter with me
we want metrics
we want it now
we know we can win
I weigh 170 pounds
that's 90 kilograms
see metrics can even make me thin

Chew the pill that tastes like hell, but gives you strength
Embrace the drug that makes you mad, cause still it turns you into Something else
Feel the need for love grows stronger!
Swap your mind for a mirror-search, and shake until the break of day

One day you'll realize that you were wrong
And you'll regret that all this happened
Did it (all) happen? Some day you'll realize that you were wrong
(You'll be) Left with paranoia, (as your only friend)

Your mind is full of enemies, the room is full of energies
That want to take control
They're all around you, and you're all alone
Your mind is full of enemies, the room is full of energies
Haunting your soul
They're all around you, and you're on your own

One day you'll realize that you were wrong
You'll regret that all this happened
Some day you'll realize that you were wrong
To be left with Paranoia

Unni Wilhelmsen- I Wont Go Near You Again :o

Yes, all that you’ve give me, I know
But all you’ve cost me, you know
Sums up to nothing much you know,
nothing much at all*
To live from, anyway
Hardly to survive…

So I won’t come near you again
You can bet your life
I can’t come that close again
I won’t go near you, I don’t think I
even want to see you …

Sorry for not being what you needed
For not possessing what you
Think you want
Don’t know about anyone who does
By the way, is that why you’re still you?
Still within yourself*
While I am someone else … well…

I won’t come near you again
You can bet your life
I can’t come that close again
I wont go near you, I don’t think I
Even want to see you

`Cause the past is stronger
than my will to forgive
Why did you need my hand, my hand that night?
What did you mess up my systems for
If you really know me so well
Tell me which part I loved
And which one I hate the most?
Did it get you ready for later
Did the others fade out, like me?
well...

I won’t come near you again
You can bet your life
I can’t come that close again
I wont go near you, I don’t think I
Even want to see you

No, ever again,
Never again
Never again, baby
Ever again
I said never again (never again)
Ever again

when the revolution comes!

lyrics:

When they poured across the border
I was cautioned to surrender,
this I could not do;
I took my gun and vanished.
I have changed my name so often,
I've lost my wife and children
but I have many friends,
and some of them are with me.

An old woman gave us shelter,
kept us hidden in the garret,
then the soldiers came;
she died without a whisper.

There were three of us this morning
I'm the only one this evening
but I must go on;
the frontiers are my prison.

Oh, the wind, the wind is blowing,
through the graves the wind is blowing,
freedom soon will come;
then we'll come from the shadows.

Les Allemands e'taient chez moi, (The Germans were at my home)
ils me dirent, "Signe toi," (They said, "Sign yourself,")
mais je n'ai pas peur; (But I am not afraid)
j'ai repris mon arme. (I have retaken my weapon.)

J'ai change' cent fois de nom, (I have changed names a hundred times)
j'ai perdu femme et enfants (I have lost wife and children)
mais j'ai tant d'amis; (But I have so many friends)
j'ai la France entie`re. (I have all of France)

Un vieil homme dans un grenier (An old man, in an attic)
pour la nuit nous a cache', (Hid us for the night)
les Allemands l'ont pris; (The Germans captured him)
il est mort sans surprise. (He died without surprise.)

freedom soon will come;
then we'll come from the shadows.

Diana Krall Abandoned Masquerade Lyrics

The glitter on a paint and plaster face
Is covering desire and disgrace
We could be lovers
But no one suspects at all
Once you're inside that costume ball

And now I'm sitting here before the mirror
I have the skill still to disguise my tears
Then as the magic starts to fade
I find myself abandoning the masquerade

Even though you're suffering
You try to hide it
And pretend you're so nonchalant
You can cry a pool of tears
And sit beside it
Then perhaps you'll know what you want

I hope you never feel this much despair
Or know the meaning of that empty chair
As the illusions that we made all fall away
In this abandoned masquerade
