Thought Andy Ison would have reported already

He was visiting Christie Hospital and speaking to some of the patients.
They mentioned the charity concert and showed a short clip of the Smiths.
He appears to be a nice down to earth guy. Salt of the earth.

Well, of course he's nice to people at a hospital while being filmed. ;-)
no, I'm sure he's a nice guy and hope his concert is a big success.

It was not that shallow, he spoke of people he knew that had died of cancer (as we all can, well me personally) and wanted to do something to aid the fight against the disease. He wasn't being "oh look at me" far from it. Anyway, I'm absolutely sure his concert will be a big success it's gaining much approval on the news in the region. In fact the headlne was "The biggest concert ever to include the biggest names in the region, Stone Roses etc" Local news of course, but the north west is a big region.

Well being British, I honestly didn't notice.
We don't go in for personal insults too much in these parts.
I honestly didn't notice, just take as you find in my opinion and if his hair was greasy, it did not diminish his intent.
