Yes I am blaming this on the Jews.

The reason being, Sanctuary Records is in the main run by Jews.

They decided to put out a statement on a national radio station, rather than shelve the blameon themselves, knowing full well it was a falsehood.

They sold tickets under false pretence, cunningly exonerating their behaviour at a later date with the excuse "he had never agreed to it anyway", and yet obviously instructing the station at the time to "flog it for all it's worth".

Now don't dare to come on here and accuse me of being racist.

If those who care to sell their wares in this way are in the main "Jewish", I will dare to say the "Jews" have caused this event.

Had they been "Hindu" or "Muslim", I would have said so.

Sadly for you.

They are ONCE AGAIN "JEWS"

AND STILL THEY DON'T BELIEVE US.

"Pity I don't have Jewish relatives.

No, on second thoughts, thank God above I don't have Jewish relatives, they'd probably fleece me for even more cash. "

...and...

"They are still ugly usurers though, no matter how rich they become.
Big nose strikes again!"

You're not a racist, hm? I know I should feel sorry for someone as mentally ill as yourself, but I just can't. You really are just wading around in your own figurative filth.

I'm not a Zionist, by the way. Just because I find your words repulsive doesn't make me Jewish, Zionistic, etc.

Are you lonely or something? You seem like it.

I really enjoy the evasive way in which you post.

You manage to avoid addressing anything that would actually incriminate you (as if your words aren't obvious enough) and instead just use bizarrely edited Morrissey lyrics to further your little Fourth Reich agenda.

And when you say "the lot of you"...which lot exactly am I coming from? I told you a few times already that I'm NOT Jewish. I'm just someone who's sick of seeing your racist stream of shit pollute the board.

The "fourth reich"

At my last count, there was only three.

Thank you for gracing me with the fourth.

I'm sure Adolf will be delighted.

As for the bizarrely edited lyrics.
No they are not..

They came from his head, not mine.

He just never had the nerve to put pen to paper.

You can't convince someone to change their views when they're as mentally ill as that racist cunt.

It's disgusting, I know, especially to think of how many people are like her.

It makes me physically ill to think about it really...

Blah blah blah.

Okay, I don't have the energy for this board tonight. Another Kill The Jews orgy. Yawn. I'm out of here after this.

There are three parties in this IOW matter who are both guilty of caring about themselves and their own interests but not at all about the fans, and one of those parties is Morrissey. (The others are Sanctuary and the festival organizers.) I'm not gonna make sweeping statements about Northerners with Irish blood and English hearts as Morrissey is just one person. And I doubt any Jews managed to cut off all of Morrissey's means of communication with the outside world. Did they steal his FAX machine? Cut his phones lines? Did they kidnap him and hold him hostage until Morrissey finally broke free two days ago to desperately try and save his fans from the false advertising?

We know from how quickly Morrissey told us what the deal is with Alain Whyte that he'd never, ever sit idly by while his fans are confused.........

Morrissey should stop surrounding himself with only yes-people and wake up.
Yes, we know why he loves Julia. She worships the ground he walks on. If she didn't she'd be heartlessly excommunicated tomorrow.

All anti-semites: Fucking die. Goodnight.

I've always felt conflicted about Codreanu, given the source of his screen name and the way he always pats Seriously Flawed on the back when she's giddily and tediously obsessing on Jews. Seriously Flawed has often said that she just likes to argue any point for the heck of it, which makes one never really abl to know where her heart is. However, she's pretty consistant on the hating Jews thing, so I'm inclined to believe that's sincere. Same goes for Codreanu.

Outside of his racism, I like Codreanu. He's got a lot of redeeming qualities: intelligent, great taste in music, funny, nice and thoughtful to everyone. I wish he wouldn't continue to undermine all his good qualities with his racism. People will always be able to dismiss him as a racist. I try not to dismiss the good points of people, but others will, and he's asking for it. Why does he do that to himself? And what is so cool about the real Mr. Codreanu from whom he gets his name? I went to Cod's links and the guy was the lowest of the low.

At the end of the day I find myself having to accept the idiocy of others everywhere I turn, on the left and the right. For example, last night I was listening to one of my El Vez CDs and I've gotta hear El Vez (whom I generally like) screaming "Che it loud!" (shout outs to Che Guevera) and yapping about totalitarian Zapatistas, and then I have to read empty-headed lefty music critics lauding El Vez for "educating" people. Excuse me for laughing at the idea that an admirer of a communist murderer could be educating anyone. But I don't think this means El Vez has a rotten heart. He just got his head filled with bullshit from somewhere, thinks it's fashionable, and knows little about what he's talking.

It's a pathetic world I find myself stuck in.

I'm just passing through here, on my way to someplace civilized.

He's never been particularly "nice" or "thoughtful" when asked to explain his homophobia.
Also, his "intelligence" seems to desert him when it comes to the inherent contradiction in being a homophobe AND being a Morrissey fan.
Whether Morrissey is gay or not, I'm sure he has no time for homophobes.
Neither have I.

There are two types of racists.

The Ignorant Ones - those who loudly announce at every opportunity now much they hate another race, nationality, religion, or gender.

The Intelligent Ones - those who have racist feelings, but are smart enough to keep their feelings to themselves, thus avoiding people detesting them.

Isn't he homophobic because he was indoctrinated by his lovely Catholic Church?

His views about homosexuality stink and you're right that they're not nice. Yet he's still nice to everyone on a one-on-one basis, even those who are members of the groups he hates.

It just shows all the more how irrational his racist and homophobic views are.

Lots of intelligent people are racists and homophobes, even though being racist or homophobic is stupid.

I guess I believe that how someone treats others in their daily lives and on a personal level is the most revealing thing about the heart. It's how I manage to get along with people even though I don't always relate to their worldviews. **shrug**

I believe that if someone can justify their beliefs, whatever they may be, in a rational way, and they are honest about how they feel, then that is fair enough, they have a perfect right to think what they like.
I would actually be intrigued to hear why codreanu finds homosexuality so abhorrent, as long as the words he used came from him, and not one of his dubious 'heroes', or from any religious doctrine.
So cod, forget ideology and theology for a second, and try to articulate in your own words why you consider homosexuality to be such a disreputable aberration.

The obvious problem I have with homophobes is that I take it personally when they say that how I live my life is sick, immoral, perverted, or any of the myriad other adjectives they use to degrade and dehumanise gay people.
There is no debate with these people, because I'm not interested in converting them to my beliefs, in much the same way as a black guy doesn't want to waste his time on a dyed-in-the-wool racist.
Life's too short.

If I visited a neo-nazi site, then I would expect to come across these views, but I don't believe that it's acceptable on a Morrissey fan-site, in the same way that adverts for McDonalds or petitions on behalf of the pro-hunt lobby have no place here.
To be honest I was surprised when Codreanu 'came-out' as a homophobe, as I had give him more credit, and didn't expect him to be so vulgar and crass.
Anyway, I appreciate your frank response theo.
Over to you cod.

I totally agree with you regarding Che Guevara.
I don't see why people admire this man.
Same with Stalin, who murdered as many people as Hitler and Mussolini did and is considered a "hero" by a great many people.

Never heard El Vez, though, don't know where he's coming from and what does he talk about in his lyrics.

Wow! Thanks, Benton. Christopher and Peter together! I'm really glad you forwarded this to me!!!

Did you click to the extended version of it?

I loved this part:

=====
Female audience member: Excuse me. I'm not usually awkward at all but I'm sitting here and we're asked not to smoke. And I don't like being in a room where smoking is going on.

CH: Well you don't have to stay darling, do you? I'm working here and I'm your guest, OK? And this is what I'm like; nobody has to like it.

IK: Would you just stub that one out?

CH: No. I cleared it with the festival a long time ago. They let me do it.

FAM: We should all be allowed to smoke then.

CH: Fair enough. I wouldn't object. It might get pretty nasty though. I have a privileged position here, I'm not just one of the audience, so it would be horrible if everyone was like me. This is my last of five gigs, I've worked very hard for the festival. I'm going from here to Heathrow airport. If anyone doesn't like it they can kiss my ass.
=====

I think I now have enough time to read the previous link you sent, which does indeed interest me.

Thank you.

We're totally in agreement, lg.

I read something interesting once comparing the current cult of Che to the cult of Napolean amonst young males in the 19th century, and how people who should've known better would separate his evil from his glamour. I'm a little too spaced out right now to post on that, however.

El Vez is really fun. He's a goof who means well and makes me smile anyway. It's just a few things he throws in the lyrics that are slightly grating to me. He thinks what the world needs is a cross between Elvis Presley and Che Guevera. He probably just thought that sounded cool.
