you daft cock, you ought to get out more, had you been in Liverpool in 1999 when Morrissey played there you would have heard him denounce racism (amongst other things), therefore you can stick your facist views where they belong, up your arse.

It should have been at Brixton on 14th November '86, with the Fall. But Johnny Marr wrapped his car round a wall or something and the gig was postponed until 12 December minus the Fall.
It was their last gig in Blighty and indeed their second last gig ever....

It was their last gig ever.

The San Remo festival they did after that was in no way a proper gig. All mimed, only 2 songs i think.

Thanks
I've just looked in Rogan's book and it said they were booked to play 'what was to be their last live performance'
but due to a technical hitch they had to 'reprise their act'.
Morrissey refused but was eventually talked in to doing it.
So, yes, you are correct! it wasn't a live performance. I hadn't read that before (or had but hadn't registered it!)

I have it on video if you would like to borrow it. The stage setting is beautiful.......

this is what I was on about (not sure post above)
anyway it's dated 13/07/1987 but obviously they just contributed the track as it wasn't a gig. (front of l.p. obviously cut up as my scanner won't do the full image). Not that it's out to do with the 'racism' discussion.

I am so glad he supports "Animal Lib Front", before all others!

They really are the most deserving, and most reticent.
