they begin playing the guitar into to Untitled from Turn on the Bright Lights.

They've been playing the same setlist for a year and a half. No new songs. They release a EP with re-worked old material. No talk of recording a new album. Anyone else smell a fraud?

dont smell a fraud, but I heard one the moment I put on that bright lights cd. WTF; Joy div and old Cure, shaken well. think of an image, put on a suit and go go GO!

well, they arent exactly workaholic but they do have 2 new songs, and the black ep isnt reworked old material, just radio session versions. does hatful of hollow ring a bell??

I talked to the rabbi who did Paul's sister's barmitzvah, he said Interpol has enough new songs to release a double cd but that since the band doesn't like double cd's they will just release two e.p.'s back to back a month apart. BTW, the rabbi warned me to bring my ass when I listen to the new songs cuz he promised they would knock it off.

I told you all they sucked a few months back......Its nice you finally figured it out.
