.. Well, despite the new Zealand press saying England had nothing in the attacking bank left after last week (Ok, a importnat, yet unimpressice performance over the Blacks).. i think you saw a glimpse of a great side yesterday the way they fought and beat Australia (and you won't wanna hear this) in possibly the most difficult tour down under for years. The England offence started to work yesterday and the second Tindall try was world class.. I was watching over my local rugby club.. seats set out and a big screen.. and we all hit the roof. Marvellous game. And Cohen's try.. well, he got quicker if you watch the replay..

England now undisputed number 1 team? Its a lofty position to hang on to.. but there at the moment on merit. What's your comment Bazza?

Well the world is changing isn't it? After the England win over NZ last weekend, we weren't unduly worried. Now after England's rather good win over Australia people down under are really sitting up and taking notice. Rolling mauls, well we were playing that kind of rugby seasons ago, so you've only caught up there. What was different in this test was that England did show that yes they do have backs, and that given a chance dad's army can run with the ball. You still have to remember the World Cup is what every team is aiming for. These are just friendlies. Like England playing Tibet in football. The All Blacks were very convincing over the Welsh on Saturday and looked much better. Running in tries, exciting back play. Come November we will be at the top of our game form, while England will be at the start of the season. However Ruffian, respect to the boys in white. They must have been doing it for Prince William's birthday or something. The All Blacks play France this coming weekend. Should be goody and then we're up against Australia and the Springbox. They was one good comment on the news with the Australian coach who said he was more intrested in retaining the Beldisloe Cup, than worrying about England. What concerns me the most about the AB's is how our coach keeps changing teams for each game. Surely he should start to finalise on a squad and get them playing and working together. However we don't want to give anything away just yet.
