Excuse me but "the mother of all bombs" will kill a lot of those Iraqi people you claim to care so much about. I thought this was all about being against Saddam, yet for the Iraqi people. Sounds to me like you're just enjoying being a bloodthirsty militarist.

No, dummy, the MOAB is guided by satellite and, anyway, wouldn't be used where civilians are. Duh. Oh wait, you don't understand that, as you're still insisting that we "carpet bombed" Afghanistan....

But the US did bomb the Red Cross in Afghanistan right? In fact they bombed it twice, just to be sure. Mistake? Intentional? If their equipment is as good as you say it is, it makes you wonder doesn't it?

3000 bombs in 48 hours and not one civilian is going to harmed by this? What did Timothy McVeigh say again? Oh that's right...collateral damage.

Nope. Never said anything about "carpet bombing" Afghanistan in my life.

My point is that I don't think it's right just to count Iraqi civilian deaths as regrettable. I have no doubt that a large portion of his own army has no loyalty whatsoever to Saddam. BUT, they will fight becuase (like any soldier) it's what they're trained to do, and they will feel it as their duty given that their country is under attack. Given the economic situation in Iraq, you cannot blame people for opting for the certain income of an army career. They or their family may have been victims of saddam's oppression, and I don't think it really tallies with your expressed concern for the Iraqi people to urge the use of a weapon which surely pushes the definition of "weapon of mass destruction" on them.
If the war can be waged without recourse to such weapons, I think it will be a praiseworthy thing, and I think it's wrong to appear so gleeful at the prospect of largescale loss of life. I understand your wishing death on Saddam, but I cannot and will not see the Iraqi people whether civilian or otherwise as deserving of the same.
Of course it's a war, and some people are going to die, and soldiers are trained to prepare for this. But if this war can be waged with minimal loss of life that will be the optimal outcome. It is my profound hope that the Iraqi army crumbles quickly and comprehensively.

Gee...and I thought L.oaf was for war as a last resort? He seems extremely overjoyed.

Such a sad display when in the end they tried to blame France for the War.

Don't forget the "go" pills to keep our pilots bombing 24 hours a day
