Look, I love me some Morrissey -- he's hot, insightful and, well, at nearly 44 he's still hot. But anyway, you all need to let go. He hasn't had a decent album in 3 albums and you all are obsessing over Smith-era rhetoric which no longer exists. Get over yourselves, get over that image of him that you're clinging to, and wake up and smell the Moz suck factor. He's reduced himself to a mediocre-album producing L.A. menace. Period. He used to rock, now he sucks. ...but he is still hot. Regardless, please get jobs and/or hobbies.

I don't 'cling' to any image of Morrissey and contrary to popular belief, I do have a life. Regardless of what my colleagues and family say...and my er...psychiatrist...ahem. But that's another story.

I don't think he's 'reduced' himself in any way. Twenty years after he began his musical career, he's still as relevant as ever, still winning new fans, still writing great music. I don't know what image you think he has, but for God's sake, let the man change. It'd be worse if he was still walking around with a bush in his back pocket and a hearing aid in his ear.

As for the 'decent album in 3 albums' - well, I agree that Maladjusted wasn't his best, but it was still miles better than the majority of crap released at the time or since.

He will return and he will be the saving grace of music. Have faith, my friend

all sorts of bad
