ah, benton. i didn't plan on responding to this thread. this hmmmmmmm person is what is called a wind up. he just takes whatever side is unpopular because he likes to get wind people up. too bad this tatu thing has been done to death and we've already established it's crap, otherwise i might be interested in entering into this argument.

all sorts of bad

i saw them on a late night show and the music they spit out is questionable at best.....the only good thing was that the two lead singers looked to be in some sort of lesbian relationship. the good is, they are hot....so it kinda turned me on.

OK...EW! I'm very creeped out by this statement. Please tell me how old these two girls are, because I just recently saw one of their videos and it was quite disturbing because they look so young!!! I seriously do NOT want to see two 13 year old girls kissing. *shiver* Isn't that what got Pete Townshend into trouble?

They're something like 16 or 17. According to their manager, they are there to provide 'underage entertainment'. They are most likely as 'lesbian' as Avril Lavigne is 'punk', which is not at all.

God bless corporate pop!

I'm in favour of lesbianism. It's just feminism that annoys me.

No I'm not! How offensive! I stand 95% behind what I say.

Not at all! Everything I say is heartfelt!

Musically, it's streets ahead of ANY other cover version of HSIN?. How can you say otherwise? I wasn't aware that it had perviously been discussed on this board, so there.

> otherwise i might be interested in entering into this argument.

Oh please feel free to jump in at some point!

look, i've already discussed my hatred for tatu. i hated them before i knew they were doing a smiths cover and i hate them now. you can think what you like about their song obviously, but i think it's crappy. as i've said before, speeding up the original and adding synthesizers does not equal brilliance. none of the other HSIN? cover versions have been very good either, but at least they weren't sung by fake lesbians on helium and lots of it.

Mindy, why bother? How can you argue with someone who makes a statement like this one?

That's a bit nasty, isn't it? What have they done to you, to warrant your 'hatred'?

> ,... but at least they weren't sung by fake lesbians on helium and

So your problem with them, is that they're 'fake' lesbians?

2 points, my little dungaree wearing dunce.

1, I posted my opinion without looking for an 'argument'. A discussion possibly.

2, Why waste space on this board by telling anther poster not to respond? You have Mindy's email address, it would have been wiser to have mailed your 'instructions' directly to her.

For someone who is supposedly soon graduating from university, you display little comprehension skill, and little respect for ther users.

I can tell by your writing style, and by your hatred of 'fake' lesbians.

I hope that you & 'Caleb' have a happy life together, since you both seem to defend each other with a love whose name must not be spoken.

i hate who i want to hate. if you don't like it, well it's not your problem anyway.

> So your problem with them, is that they're 'fake' lesbians?

that's one of my problems with them. i have a problem with exploitation. but it is not my only problem with them. their music sucks. i thought i made it clear that i find their music trashy -- and not a in a good way -- and their voices hugely annoying. they're untalented, manufactured pop tarts.
