I was in Timmy Nolan's Bar tonight in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, for an early evening drink when I spotted Morrissey at a booth. I went across to speak to him; it looked like he was being interviewed by this English guy. He seemed a little awkward, even shy, which I suppose is not that surprising when you are being acosted by a complete stranger in a Los Angeles bar. I mentioned that I'd seen him in Las Vegas on the recent tour and that the new songs were very strong and should be released. He said that "they've been deleted". He seemed to be joking, so I asked him what he meant and he just changed the subject and asked me where I was from and whether I was in the States legally. Of course, now there are loads of questions and things I should have asked him but, thinking back on it, he ended up asking all the questions. Very friendly, relaxed, dressed all in black and enjoying a couple of drinks. He left about half an hour later. Anyway, it's made my year so far.
Kevan.

I am so sickened now

He asked you if you were in the States legally? Did he mistake you for a terrorist?

i just met kevan and, in addition to being a very nice guy, he is english. hence why morrissey asked if he was over here legally.

i dunno. do rich celebrities (even allegedly washed up ones) even need to do that? i suppose they do. i don't think moz is a citizen. he probably just has a visa to live here. i can't imagine he needs one to work here since I think there are different rules for people who work in entertainment. I could be rong though.
