Whoa! What's going on here??? Fascist posters, Pillow says goodbye, and what else will I find? I haven't made many visits since the holidays and it seems as if things are getting worse around here, if that's possible. It's too bad this site and the people who post can't be more civilized, I'd understand the negative tone if this was an Eminem fan site but this is Morrissey! True fans of Moz just aren't like this, so all I can conclude is that random people come here to contribute to the sespool of mindless minutiae and use this place as a dumping ground for their worst behavior habits. What can they possibly get out of this? Being away from this site for a few weeks has given me perspective about how nasty a place this really is. Like other fan sites I had hoped this place could be an intelligent exchange of thoughts on Moz's music, support and upbeat discussions, but if anyone DARES go that direction like Mindy, you get flamed left and right, meanwhile those same people have nothing articulate, interesting or thought provoking to offer themselves. All they know how to do is put others down. So I don't know what you people want here. I'll be around less often and only reply on occasion to people I've enjoyed conversing with up to this point. I think I'll keep my new year's resolution to avoid negative people at all costs. Life is just too short. Good luck to ya.

i agree with you there. i've been posting a lot less frequently myself. it really does give you a change in perspective. you learn to take things less personally and see the people here for what they are, which is rude and nasty for the most part (with several exceptions -- the good people know who they are). anyway, if you ever want to talk moz, please feel free to email me. i have a feeling i'm going to be spending less time here anyway (after all, my second semester of college is fast approaching, etc.). whatever you do, take care. your (regular) presence will be missed!

How very true. I do not understand what so many people here have against actually using their minds. It saddens me that this happens here, I always thought that a Morrissey board would be a little more intellectually stimulating, but about 90% of what is here is drivel and hate.

The hatred posters are after one thing: a reaction. This post is giving them what they want.

They are like terrorists without the ability to blow anything up, only they have no real purpose. If we all ignored every inflamatory post, they would eventually tire of WASTING THEIR TIME with no payoff.

Let the intelligent people triumph not by leaving but by staying a responding intelligently.

Quite simply, we all know who the idiots are- don't click on any of their puerile posts and don't respond to any of their idiotic insults. There are some genuine Morrissey fans here and (on occasion) it is possible to have a meaningful conversation.
