Can I just wish a Happy Xmas to all the Morrissey fans out there.
At present I am in a treatment centre in Devon,England to get some help with my long battle against alcoholism.
Now,more than ever,the music of Morrissey and The Smiths is a great comfort.
For the first time in years I have a sense of hope and if I can get my head together I can hopefully start university next year.

Thanks Ruff.I will be here for at least 6 more weeks. It's hard going but worth it.
I'll keep tabs on all things Morrissey.

I was watching Poirot (is it spelt right?)on ITV last Sunday and he went off to recoup somewhere on the coast in Devon and someone got murdered, he found out who it was in the end but you've got to watch yourself.

I limit my drinking to weekends now, I used to drink like a fish, I still have to watch it 'cos I might piss the bed!

Congratulations and good luck on your continuing recovery. As they say 'Today is the first day of the rest of you life'. I was never an alcoholic but that saying has helped me out in bad times anyway. Happy holidays.
