Has anyone on here heard of a swedish artist called Hakan Hellstrom?
On a recent visit to Sweden a friend played me some of his songs and it reminded me very much of Morrissey and the Smiths. He has two albums both of which are very good which most morrissey fans should like. If u want to know more about him have a look at his website (hakanhellstrom.com). It will help if u understand some swedish.
Anyway When my friend translated some of his lyrcis for me it again reminded me very much of Morrissey. I told her this but she had never hears of The Smiths and I didn't think much more of it. However very recently in Sweden there has been a lot of discussion ovver the fact that Hakan has been "stealing" MOrrissey's lyrics and translating them into Swedish.
Does Morrissey know about this? maybe he could sue and raise funds to release another album himself without a record deal.
