That's because they have a different calendar there. As I write this , it is the 22nd of may, 1948 in the land that time forgot. Never mind boyo, morrissey will be born in exactly 11 years time.

Canada beckons you Patrick! Would you go back to Halifax (it was Halifax right?) I'd love to organize one if I knew any other Moz fans in Ontario -- which I do not. The girl I went to the Moz concert with in 2000 has now moved to Ireland so that doesn't help me one bit. Looks like it's just you and I eh?

Aye, it beckons me from afar. Yet, hark! I hear it clearly call my name from across the cruel, dark ocean. Woe is me.

Anyway, where was the 2000 gig? Hamilton? Toronto? Enough mozzites to fill a wee pub for a moz-ceilidh?

Well I was there from feb - may, and desperately sought fellow moz-worshippers.

One sunday night though, the last sunday in march if I remember right, I went along to 'Shadowplay' at the marquee with a couple of local goth girls I was friendly with. And and and and and AND!, towards the end of the night, they played two smiths songs. What disappoints me slightly is that I can't remember what they were!!! I have a vague memory of one of them being ' how soon is now'. But I do remember they played two. Honest, I swear.

So where does it happen in wonderful wonderful halifax, then?

Yes -- it was in Hamilton at Hamilton Place. I really loved that venue. Didn't hurt that I was front row centre holding Moz's hand. *sigh* Memories. It was a packed show. Not sure if it sold out or not. It was wonderful though.

When I was over there, I heard Hamilton was a bit rough. Is that true?
Mind you, being from Glasgow, I'm being a wee bit cheeky asking that.

I'm going to enter the contest, any suggestions? (aside from the standard Levi, Doc's and cardigan look) I've got to do something a little different to get their attention.

A bit rough? No -- I don't think so. It's not the most desirable city around but it depends on which part of the city you're in. There's some really high-end realestate in some sections and crap in the others. lol Just like any town I guess. It's an industrial city so there's lots of factories, etc. I live about 40 minutes from Hamilton.
