bruce November 30, 2002, 01:11 PM After watching the recent 'these things take time' documentry a couple of times, i have come to the conclusion that Andy Rourke is the most boring person i have ever heard speak.

I found him quite dull as well on that program. zzzzzz I think that must have been his 10th glass of wine he was drinking.

Andy rourke is an arse. With the smiths, he was simply in the right place at the right time. It could have been anybody.
As for the prices and duration, I'll take £26 for 70 minutes of moz anyday.
With BDB, you pay £15 for 2 and a half hours of plodding dross. A wee word of advice that you really should know by now - you get what you pay for in this world.
Smiffy. November 30, 2002, 09:06 PM Not only did you get to see the amazing Andy Rourke one of the best musicians in the world, in his home town of Manchester!!! But you have also seen The Smiths documenory "These Things Take Time:The Story of The Smiths". I did not live in the areas where The Smiths documentory came out on TV, why didn't it come out across the country? Anyone got one on a video tape that they don't want I would buy it off you, that would be great.

My friend and I went and after the show Andy Rourke was totally hitting on my friend and I. He's was bragging how he is this big important musician and how he has all this money and he and a former bandmate are about to get a lot more. When I asked "how, by suing Morrissey?" he called me a bitch and walked away.
Smiffy, trust me, he really isn't worth it.

It couldn't have been anybody. Rourke wrote all the bass lines. I don't think just "anybody" could have done such a lovely job.

> Smiffy, trust me, he really isn't worth it. Andy Rourke as far as I know is a nice man and isn't very rich. If you are nice to him, he is nice to you it is as simple as that. Show Andy some respect. I am not sure if it is true what you are saying? Was there a blonde girl called Heather Street with Andy? Did Andy throw up? or are you making the whole thing up. Because I don't think that would be very nice. I really like Andy. Sorry if I appear not very nice I don't mean to. Andy could like you if you want him to.
Troubled Joe December 1, 2002, 03:07 PM He was totally out of tune and I had turn the sound off!
I have nothing against Andy Rourke however his Delicious single was attrocious and I found his selective topics a total cop out on that documentary.
