Hi

Does anybody know if this is downloadable from any site ? I haven't seen it for years and would love to see it again. If anybody has it on tape and they are willing to do me a copy, I have 2 Smiths bootleg tapes from Brixton Academy in 1987 (last gigs) and live in Spain from 1984.

It's very unlikely you have Brixton 1987 - their last gig was Brixton 86 so yer talking cobblers me friend. Check yer dates, mate.

And Spain 84 - I bet my arse it's Paseo De Cameons from 85!

I have this show on tape. I'm not too sure of the quality though. I'll take a peek at it tonight. The only problem is I'm in Canada. My tapes won't work in your machine and vise versa. You'd have to get it converted over to PaL if that's not a problem. I have a friend who sends me tapes from the UK and it only costs me $10.00 to convert 1 hr. of tape and $5.00 each additional hour. Lemme know k?

PS I also have to figure out how to record from one tape to another. I'm a technolgical moron. LOL

Well -- he doesn't actually have that show on tape though. I bought it at a record show a few years back. He just sends me some Top of the Pops videos, cd's, etc that I can't get here in Canada. He's not a huge Smiths / Moz fan -- he's just very kind and helps me out a lot. Let me know what you think. If you can't find anyone in the UK to copy it for you I can send you a VHS tape and you can get it converted. It's up to you.

Its on VIDEOSMITHS ( not sure of which volume ). I bought a few of these tapes about 6 or 7 years ago, including the one with The South Bank Show on it, but I loaned it to a friend and never saw it again. Vinyl Exchange in Manchester used to have a stock of them for £9.99 each. (0161 228 1122).

I'm not so sure if they will still have them in though.
