Hello all,

May we take a break from commenting on America's lust for impoverished Iraqi blood to something Smiths/Morrissey related?

O.K. (pause)

Does anyone know what the qoute was in "Still Ill" that was taken from the english murderers ( see story on homepage )? I would really like to know. I really think that the story is half-assed because it doesn't actually contain the quote/qoutes from either, "suffer little children" or "Still ill". But then again no one is paying me to edit their stories either...

Anyway, I've always wondered about the true meaning of "still ill" because it so happens that it is one of my favorites and one of the first I learned on bass (check out what Andy is doing by the way...really listen damn it it's brilliant).

Thanks again everyone and until the cock crows ( if mine does I'm going to pass out)

Post Scriptum: did you know that the "immigrant song" by Led Zeppelin is about Vikings? Who knew?

Please, war sucks! I agree, it's time we give peace a chance. Let's give peace a chance so we can give our minds (and soles) peace.

Peace.

Come on, don't leave. I change my mind, lets give peace a chance. I'll believe anything you want if you'll just stay!

Mindy, don't leave...
We love you,
As of detractors, yours or mine, I think they are a part of the "entertainment Internet package".
Actually, without online enemies, it would be boring...
Sorry, today my mind is not at Morrissey subjects at all...
I feel truly guilty of distracting peoples today from music to politics....
(Or maybe no one would read my messages except 1 or 2 other fellow political buffs... :-) )

Cheers to all.
Peace everywhere.

....but I did read it. Um.....interesting. hehehe.

You said once that you're jewish, right? I don't ask because I think people have to base their views on their ethnicity or race and shit, but I was astonished by how far you take your Israel kick.

But um, yeah, I'll try to get through some of that message soon, if there's anything I can say that I haven't already. But I'm watching cartoons and relaxing now, so not tonight. = )

And you know what, I guess I let it become too obvious that an easy way to get under my skin is to keep calling me a republican, but I'm telling you I'm not one, okay. If I was one I wouldn't give a shit if people knew it. You'd think I'd vote for a party that Jerry Falwell, William Bennet, John Ashcroft, and Ralph Reed hang out in? Give me a break. I'd like to take a shit on their heads. Okay, wait...wait...you're not gonna suck me in anymore tonight.

It's just....

I'VE BEEN DREAMING OF A TIME WHEN
PEOPLE
ARE SICK TO DEATH OF
REPUBLICAN
AND DEMOCRAT.....

Well, at least somebody read my shit... I thought no one would, maybe except Suzanne... :-)

BTW, what wine are you drinking? :-)

Does it matter who am I... Disaffected renegade Israeli who served at West Bank for 2 years and got horrified by brutality of his own peoples and failure of Zionism to provide an peace and co-existance in his country of birth? Or white Christian or Mexican or Swede/Finnish Nordic Human Rights type... ? Guess, just a clue, perhaps I sound too emotional for a remote observer... :-)

I'm human, so do you...
Maybe it is my rather weird quality to do everything up to extreme? I have rather questionable habit to cut through smokescreen to the bone (of this or that subject), which makes me hated by some... I sincerely think that Zionism is a dead ideology, I also understand that Arabs are not blameless either... (Your example of Elders of Zion series at Egypt, which could be produced only by total fucking nuts.) I understand that European Jews survived Holocaust, and Arab Jews were victims of Arab nationalism after Israeli creation at some countries, not unlike 1947 Palestinian refugees, I just don't believe that Zionist ideology has any long-term perspective for the future of Jewish people or Middle East... I think American experiment is overall a success, while Israeli "Jewish State" experiment, which was perhaps well-intended by Hertzl and Ben Gurion etc... alas failed. It does not matter now if Zionism in its birth was a noble, spiritual venture of some young Russian-Jewish student (Zeev Zabotinski) or Austrian-Jewish journalist of Noie Frei Press (Theodor Herzl) and other Wagnerian-listening assimilated Jewish Vienna cafe intellectuals 100 years ago, who took their clues from young, robust French and Slavic nationalisms... (Remember, Hertzl was an Austrian-born Fracophile and correspondent in Paris, France of fashionable liberal Viennese newspaper Noeie Frei Press, who got traumatized by infamous Dreufuss affair, was hurt, disappointed at French Republic... Zabotinski was a son of an affluent Russian-Jewish businessmnan, who was hurt by suddenly nationalistic Anti-Semitic Russians, rejecting assimilated Jews like his dad and himself.) In short, Zionism was an European born and bred affair, which was mechanically moved to the alien Palestine...

Alas, if we will forget about natural to every ethnicity (be you Morrissey Irish or Bob Dylan Jewish) parochial sentiments... Objectively, it only matters now that Zionism by 2002 produced an ugly situation, which must be solved one way or another for both Jews and Arabs... So what is more honest for Americans, to help Jews to fight Palestinians out of their homeland, while they are so mad at us, they are ready to blow their brains off, or try to help both Israelis and Palestinians out of this dead end of medieval hatred? Maybe Americans, using their unique superpower situation, would be able to help to create a new social & political system in Palestine, which would allow both peoples to reconciliate and manage to live peacefully... But Bush Jr. is not looking beyond his next election, or is he able to think at all... Maybe Israeli Labor party could suggest something radically new at January 2003 Israeli elections? I doubt...

PALESTINIANS WOULD NEVER AGREE TO BE A SECOND-CLASS PEOPLES at their home, even if Israel would give each of them $40K job and big cottage... That's a harsh truth of Middle East, and Israelis ought to realize this...

I'm not stupid, and I realize that Jewish-Arab secular state may be an utopia, but this idea at least deserves discussion... Maybe I'm crazy, but when I watch Israelis and Palestinians die, I feel like somebody is kicking me in the head and spitting in my eyes, and I feel anger & pain for both those peoples, who, BTW, ethnically are both Semitic peoples as I said before... BTW, I apologize about "Kurdish independence is Bullock" message rude language, after all, truly, I simply lack an full information about Kurds and their independence pro and contra... And I'm going through a very hard period in my private life (which is not connected at all with politics), so I hope my personal frustrations didn't spill out in my messages and made me an angry lunatic in my political ranting, which are still an internet ranting with 2 or 3 peoples reading it, perhaps they did a little bit... :-)

> there's anything I can say that I haven't already. But I'm watching

Cartoons? Disney or Japanese ones...
BTW, you don't have to, if you don't want... I know your political believes, I learned some facts from you, I just wanted to provoke you into thinking and give you a position, typical of an Arab pro-western intellectual or disaffected Israeli... I didn't mean to "kick it too far".

All right, you are way more sane I thought.

Oh, well, tonite I'm alone by myself at my little dark condo, I'm just typing my worries away at PC and drinking Kirin Ichiban beer...

I'm so sick of both fucking LA and Middle East, maybe I need to move somewhere into exotic country like Brazil or something like that... When I watch CNN and see peoples killed, it really gets me... Am I insane or is it just a normal human reaction... Maybe I'm better to forget about politics for a while, even if it is too close to home...

Sholom, peace...
