My local Sunday paper (SF Chronicle's Pink Section for all you locals) did a nice article about Morrossey and how, even though he has no new albums out, he is still very much admired and revelvant musically. Countless legitimate artists have covered his music, marking the notion that he has made his history as a "profoundly influential" musician. There are local cover bands here (SF) called the 'Nguyenes' (a common Vietnamese surname like the Smiths, and others like the 'Joneses' in Finland, Sweet and Tender Houligans, These Charming men, etc. It's just nice to see a local paper singing his praises when usually they are writting about mostly irrelevant music in this section of the paper. So all of you who don't think Morrissey isn't very good or isn't "that" good, there is overwhelming proof out there that he most certainly is!
