Hey Morrissey:
I read about your press conference denouncing the treatment of Elephants in Thailand. How about the mistreatment of elephants in Africa or India? While your at it what about denouncing the treatment of whales and dolphins in Japan. Or is it you can't because of your many Japanese fans. Speaking of Japan what about cutting off Shark fins and throwing the shark back in the water with no fins. Is that ethical or kind? Instead of spending your time channel surfing in bed why not go to UCLA and take a few classes in ecology and population dynamics of marine mammals.

Hmmm...last time I checked Morrissey was only one person. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm an "every little bit counts" kinda gal. I think it's fabulous what he's doing.

I agree with ya! It is ridiculous for people to sit around saying "Why not do this, why not do that?" He's taking the time to do this for the good of these animals, and people are going to criticize him for it. That is why so many people don't even bother anymore...because no matter what they do, there is always someone sitting on their ass in front of their computer saying "It's not enough." Yes, there are plenty of issues that could use attention...but sitting here complaining about the fact that Morrissey hasn't given a press conference on them is just stupid.

Thanks, Morrissey, for lending your lovely voice to the elephants!

it's like "and what have you done lately for the planet?" to all those bitching at morrissey.

it's not as though he decided, hey let's go pick on thailand. i'm sure it's just a peta event that he was asked to take part in.

that being said, i still hate peta, but at least they arent being assholes this time. yet.
