View Full Version : Moz's new moniker is BOREISSEY From the front desk October 14, 2002, 12:43 AM His recent shows are all the same. Disappointing! I hereby knight him Sir. Boreissey. Tough Love October 14, 2002, 12:51 AM Red Flag October 14, 2002, 01:05 AM Boz Boring, Alain "Asleep like Snow" White, Very Gay, and Dean Butterworthless. Morrissey ---> STOP punishing yourself! Mindy October 14, 2002, 03:03 AM and i mean that in the nicest, friendliest way. if morrissey's shows are all the same, as this first fellow asserted, that's hardly got anything to do with the band? do they choose the setlist? fuck no. furthermore, morrissey's concerts within a given tour have varied very little historically. he is known for using the same setlist (or variations on it) from show to show. this is hardly a new phenomenon. and even this complaint is worthless. morrissey knows that there will be repeat-attenders at his shows, but he also counts on mostly new people showing up. if you show up to multiple shows and are disappointed by the repeated setlists, that's your problem. why should morrissey cater to the people who insist on being at more than one show? DUH. i went to two shows on this tour. he played more or less the same setlist. am i bitching? hell no. and neither should you. Jake October 14, 2002, 04:35 AM WRONG! Moz's bread and butter are his hard-core fans who've been there since the beginning. He's disrespecting his hardcore fans who go to show after show by playing the same set night after night. What's wrong with the nutter playing a different set or just mixing it up once in awhile or just playing a genuine rarity once in awhile. It's not his band. It's him. I think his wig is on too tight and he not thinking straight. SHAPE UP! Cause you're this close to being a has been. Mindy October 14, 2002, 04:39 AM by new people, i didnt mean random nonfans. i meant other fans who didnt get tickets to both shows. yeah, a lot of people go to every show in a certain area, but not all. i imagine touring is hard enough work without having to worry about appeasing obsessed fans. this isnt meant as a slur, because i would go to every show if i could - same setlist or not. i am as obsessed as the next person. i just dont bitch so much. WHAT??? October 14, 2002, 05:55 AM > WRONG! > Moz's bread and butter are his hard-core fans who've been there since the > beginning. He's disrespecting his hardcore fans who go to show after show > by playing the same set night after night. How the hell is he in what way disrespecting his hardcore fans?? Just because he plays the same song over and over is disrespect? C'mon!! It's Morrissey for goodness sake. His tour, money, and HIS decision to what goes on the tour. I don't know why after sooo many years of this people don't get over it, if you want variation go make your own live mix cd and or don’t go to more than one show on each tour! Lets Groove Tonight October 14, 2002, 09:11 PM "if you want variation go make your own live mix cd" Well if Morrissey did his job we wouldn't have to do that crap. Who has the time to mix there own CD's especially with that substandard band of his. vBulletin® v3.8.4, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
