Go to Soho (lots of places to eat and drink)... or you could go to Shoreditch/ Hoxton Square. Or Camden...

ps I *heart* Ferris Bueller. I heard that when he dies, he's giving his eyes to Stevie Wonder...

Trash on a Monday and check out the London gig lists.. November has the Vines Starnglers and King Adora which are three worth checking out for different reasons.

Now, Where's my present?

Duckie at the Vauxhall Tavern on a Saturday night is good for a fantastic eclectic mix of pop tunes - pop/glam/indie/punk/electro etc. It's run by Amy Lame who is from New Jersey and a huge Moz fan. Duckie even held a Morrissey convention a few years back at the ICA on The Mall.
Suede are playing three shows in London during Novemeber and although sold out you can get a ticket from touts or ebay.
Marianne Faithfull is also playing a show in November.
Go to Sister Ray's for good CD's & vinyl in Berrick Street during the day.
Someone else mentioned Time Out which is a good idea.

Yes buy "Time Out" magazine to tell you about resurants, gigs, clubs, theatre, gay culture, shopping you know what ever is going on in London it is in "Time Out" and you could also get a London Newspaper like the "Evening Standard" to tell you what is going on. Remeber there are lots of "Guides to London" avaliable. Go to "Tourist Information" or the chain shop called "W.H.Smiths" or go in a book shop like "Borders Books" yes like the American "Borders Books" anyway in "Smiths" you can get Newspapers, Time Out and Guides to London in their book section either that or just go to a "Corner Store/Shop".
