just heard a rumour that moz has struck a deal created his own label off shoot with sanctuary who also financed the filming of the royal albert hall gigs. apparently a dvd will be out on sanctuary soon - probably christmas i guess.

Morrissey signed at last! Will create own label on Sanctuary

This just in! After 5 years without a record deal Morrissey is finally signed. Morrissey has been signed to Sanctuary records and will create his own label there.

This deal was confimred with in the past 36 hours and after the first Royal Albert Hall gig. Not so conicidently, none other than Mr. Geoff Travis was in attendance at the aftershow party. I suppose he was duly impressed by Mozzer's stellar show and arranged for the second night to be captured on video.

The video which was paid for by Sanctuary, will be released as a DVD supposedly in time for Christmas.
