"i once had a dream and it never came true" once sang the young morrissey.

but did you have any dreams that should have never come true?

After years of being a self proclaimed record industry outsider, Morrissey announces the creation of Morrissey Records. Appearing to be the answer for the artist and the fan's prayers, this was heralded as a new career direction for the cult artist. But in a shocking move, proving everyone wrong, after a few months of intense negotiation, a nearly completed deal between Morrissey and his label Morrissey records has fallen through.

"This illustrates what i've been saying for years," says morrissey from a phone in his own backyard. "Morrissey records was putting bizarre stipulations if i was to sign with them. They were wanting Deano to play the drums with a guitar and they were asking about possible collaborations with Johnny Marr. It was a no-win situation. They obviously don't understand what i'm about, and buying me lots of lusty high priced hookers was no way to go about doing a business deal for something so important as my first album in five years."

Asked what direction he was moving in, Morrissey revealed upcoming dates for a world tour.

"I was planning on taking break in December to record this album, however, I'm going to use this opportunity to tour more as i'm still in demand as a live act."

Cynically, he is taking on a theme of "the ruins of Medeival Europe" tour, he's playing old cathedrals and castles bombed out in the day of King James.
