A lot of people here talk about someone calkled Julia Riley? Who, exactly, is she, and why does everyone here seem to hate her so much?

I'm a new-ish fan, and have never heard f her, apart from the mention in the liner notes of last year's "best of".

for god's sake. this annoys me. can we all stop talking about julia riley. for the last time, no one cares. also, it doesnt make you the biggest fan just because you have the time and money to put into following morrissey around the world. for the last time, WE WOULD ALL DO THE SAME IF WE HAD THE MEANS. please stop talking about julia riley. it's tiresome.

But yes, I agree ... how can you define "biest fan". I'd follow Morrissey around if I had the time and money. (sigh)

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much. I always hate it when someone feels threatened by a subject matter and declares "no one cares." As if you can be arrogant enough to decide what everyone in the world should care about. As for, "we would all do the same if we had the means," that's bullshit. You make a lot of ignorant assumptions and try to speak for everyone. You need to take the get real challenge.

excuse me, but from what a lot of people have said, the whole julia riley thing really is annoying. therefore, i feel like im speaking for a fairly large proportion of the people here. are you saying that you dont think it's irritating to have to plod through mountains of posts about how people hate someone they dont even know? well, sorry, but i do. also, people here dont go back and read previous threads. if they did, they would realise that there is an identical thread about a quarter of the way down the page. yet still, they must post another epistle of hate. i'm not julia riley's biggest fan, but there comes a time where we must let go.

and i do not claim to speak for everyone. i admit my tendency toward hyperbole, but i do think that many morrissey fans would do what ms. riley does if they had the means. you have every right to disagree.

anyway, i stand by my position. the whole julia riley hate campaign is obnoxious.

hey Mindy You don't speak for me , I don't find it irritating , I respect her devotion , I have my own opinion about what she does , I don't hate her , I don't particularly like her , I don't think there's any campaign of hate , you're totally overeacting , if new, old, average people wonder about why and what she does , It's natural and that's it..
