i'm mexican, but I still thought that was funny!!!

> Because it sure isn't at the CA shows. I'm not saying this is simply because there are so many mexican fans. But there were a ton of huge (and I don't mean tall) "men" , well yeah most mexican,who were such fucking idiots the first and LAST time i went up by the stage at a Morrissey show.

I waited hours just to get my place up front and wasn't about to leave it.. Well i left the show with so many bruises i couldn't even count. I know people get excited..I mean it's Morrissey and I had been to his shows before .. But these people in the pit are downright cruel and care pretty much only about getting closer to the stage no matter who they have to reach to get there. Even if it means injuring you.. stepping on you.. stepping OVER you.

I have been to 4 Morrissey shows now and I try not to go to the LA ones simply because I know more of the idiots will be there. But I'm not going to let it ruin my experience by not seeing him at all.

Even after seeing Morrissey 4 times I STILL leave the show finding it so strange how rude a majority of the fans can be. Ecspecially when i first got into the smiths.. and knew NO other fans apart from myself and imagined everyone to be sort of different and interesting but not IGNORANT to the point where they don't understand others might want to enjoy the show as much as them!

SO I wonder if they are like this in the UK as well?? It's weird because I've seen many other of my fav bands in the past and realized EVERY crowd of people were considerate and yet Morrissey fans weren't. Oh and forget trying to get merchandise..because if you wait in line properly they will cut in front of you EVERY time. Not trying to sound bitter..but wondering If anyone else experiences /notices these things?

Trust me you are not the only one who's gone through that shit!
During the past tour shows (l.a) I was stupid enough to get in the pit. At one of the shows before Moz went on ONLY the guys pushed so hard that I felt my ribcage was being broken!, I couldn't take the pain any longer so I decided to get out of the pit. It took me long to get out because those jerks would not even move a finger to let me get by! they were to busy trying to push forward that they didnt want to take a chance of losing their spot. So finally one guy noticed I was having trouble getting out that he started arguing with some of the guys to let me pass by. Never got a chance to thank him, when I looked back he was gone. After that I was terrified of being in the pit at a Morrissey concert.
But of course I was in the pit for two of the shows on this tour,luckly I was on the barricade so I had something to hang on. Things weren't so bad! you know why? cos it wasn't in L.A!!
I know many people want to get to the front and touch HIS hand but please be considerate of others!!! If you want to touch MOzzer's hand then you should line up early so you can get a good place.

I was at the Vegas shows and was pushed around by not only Mexicans but by white boys too! They just don't push the mex guys around because they know they'll get their asses whomped! And the reason you probably see more violent mex people at an LA show is because most all of his fans in LA are mexican! hello!!?
Can we use a little common sense here?
If he toured in Alabama don't you think you'd see more rude white people in the pit? Why? because the South is chock full of 'em.

last time i checked, everyone pushes in the pit. it's part of being in the pit. i mean, the prefix "mosh" is added for a reason. i'm sorry some of you got hurt, but i always thought it came with the territory.
