Do they really want everyone to not eat meat? I mean seriously, how stupid is that? Do they not understand the ramfications of such a thing? It's fine to be a veggie, but if you think everyone should be one, you obviously want the human race, and the world to die.

i am currently in the process of becoming a vegetarian for personal reasons. it's not a lifestyle for everyone and it is proving somewhat difficult - not because i like meat, but because it is sometimes hard to avoid. anyway, there is actually no scientific reason why humans either should or shouldn't eat meat. it is completely possible to be healthy either way. anyway, i have to say that i am not a big fan of PETA. they can believe anything they want, but their rights end where mine begin, meaning they don't have the right to be assholes and pick on people who think differently than they do. in my eyes, some of the things PETA does are practically terrorist in nature and that is definitely not cool. animal rights are an important issue but some people need to realise that they can't push their beliefs onto others. perhaps if PETA took a more low-key approach, it could attract a greater membership. i find its current methods repelling.

p.s. i don't claim to know everything that PETA does, but i have read things about them. feel free to inform me (politely, please) if i am mistaken. thanks.
