I would hazard an ( Educated ? ) guess that he will enter from the right ( as we look at it ) of the stage. This is based on previous visits to the Albert Hall.

Comments on last nights sound problems only seek to harden my concerns over the terrible accoustics at the RAH.

I DO WISH HE WOULD TOUR AND NOT JUST VISIT.

Oh I see.

Well If I were you I really wouldn't bother. !!!!!

The reason that Morrissey never gets to the end of his encore track is because he leaves the venue in seconds, and whilst the band are still in full throng.

He never used to do this years ago, and often needed heavy security to leave venues. This on occasion led to unpleasant scenes, and fans got hurt. ( I speak from personal experience ). So he now avoids all of this.

In order to catch him, you would have to leave the venue before the start of the encore and hope that you have time to find the limo waiting.

You will end up doing 10 laps of the Albert Hall, and missing "There is a light" all for nothing.

I'm up for a pint, as I'm travelling all the way from the north and I'll need it when I hit the smoke.

If anyone is up for meeting, please feel free to drop me a line here: george@workingclassproduction.co.uk

Thanks

George

I hung around after the Salisbury gig last tour. Morrissey didn't leave immediately but hung around and people dispersed. I guess at a bigger venue this wouldn't happen. His security played 'guess which door he's coming out of', his car waited at one door then at the last minute went to another. There was no chance to get an autograph....just straight out of the fire exit into the back of a big BMW. I thinkn there's a curfew on the Y.W.C.A so he probably can't hang around posing for photos and the like.

Good luck!

George,

mate... I'm all up for being proud of your roots... but you seem almost TOO proud of being northern!!!

Being from the north, I'm too proud of the north... but it's not that great.

I dunno... maybe there's too much emphasis on this north/south divide. I'm not sure it matters.

I'll see you at the Royal Albert Hall gig. I'll be the one with White Yorkshire Rose Tattoo on my neck.

Heaven knows...

I wouldn't bank on him hanging around at the Albert Hall. I'm quite sure that a quick getaway we be in order, before the great unwashed get outside.

I don't mean to offend any cosmopolitan pretentions Salisbury may have, but a I am certain that the roads did not pose quite the same problem as London.

He will be off like a shot.

Ps.

Manchester fans, it is worth considerring flying down to London. check BMI or BA, its not that much more money.

Hey.

*** Well, I was born here, I was raised here and...:)

*** I fully agree with your sentiments here, but does utopia exist? It is true, Britain is on decline. I just yearn for the England of the 80s that I loved so much....Oh well

*** It really doesn't matter. What does matter is that the great living Englishman, infact, the greatest living wordsmith (no pun intended) is touring once more and will be visiting home for two dates

*** I have a swallow on mine j/k

> Heaven knows...

*** Yes! :P
