Just a thought to those stuck with plane tickets/hotels for the postponed dates, if your personal schedule allows, you can probably call your travel agent/airline/hotel and arrange to switch your travel dates (likely for a fee.) While certainly not ideal to have to pay additional money, it is a better alternative to losing your entire investment.
