Indeed. The only of his solo albums that is really good is Viva Hate. Without Marr there is no magic, and Morrissey seems lost in the space. so let's be very honest, viva hate is the only that we can consider as a good album.

Viva Hate was really good, all the singles he put on bona drag were mostly good, kill uncle was a dud, Your Arsenal was crap, Vaxhall and I was pretty good, and maladjusted was pretty good too.

Do any of these hold up to any given smiths cd?

Side note: there was one amazing reunion once, and that was Bauhaus, they didn't screw it up, they were just as good as they ever were. I was completely shocked and delighted...
