I really feel for the people who have been badly let down by Morrissey's latest cancellations.
It would be glib of me to say that this was on the cards from the moment the tour was announced. I have been the victim of it myself in the U.K and it's too easy to shrug our shoulders and say " I see old Moz is at it again".
For some of us who have been Smiths fans from the start our loyalty will always remain but I can easily understand how some of those fans who have been let down(once again)would never ever want to buy another Morrisey record or see another show.
The basic fact is that since Morrissey fired Joe Moss from The Smiths(because he was jealous of the time Joe spent with Johnny) he has never ever received good guidance in the form of a manager who understood both him and his fans.To this day he remains very badly advised and it will always remain so.
There have been times in his career when one simple sentence from Morrissey would have quelled a lot of hurt feelings and he has refused to do it.
The time has really come for Morrissey to take resposibility for his actions.
The bizarre thing is that due to these cancellations it now looks very likely that there will be tour dates in the U.K.
