Alas, but ...
What a glorious day it will be when a new single is released.
I might even go to church.

I think a live album would be a good idea, personally.

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!Personally I hate live albums and can count the good ones I have heard on one finger -The Who- Live At Leeds.
That is just the sort of cop-out a lazy bones like Morrissey would catch onto after he has sat on his backside for the last 5 years.
If he sees your post he will be jumping for joy and then climb back into bed.

He needs to get his arse into the studio NOW!!!....and of course we already have "Beethoven Was Deaf" and countless other live tracks as B Sides.

Yeah, but Beehoven Was Deaf is like one of my favorite CDs anyone has
ever released! I'd like well recorded live versions of some of the
other songs.

I mean, if he's gonna tour first, and as it's been years since a release,
he may as well press record and presto, give us a bonus.

A lot of live albums may suck, but as a general rule I like them. In fact I just bought a great new one: Shane MacGowan and the Popes' "Across the Broad Atlantic" (even if Shane does sound like a drunk pig on most of it).

Well we will have to agree to disagree Mr Oaf. I just think that if Moz got the chance to throw out another Live album there is not a hope in hell he will then get into a studio to record another studio album.
I love Shane MacGowan but i saw him in Cambridge a few years ago and it was tragic. His microfone stand held him up and the roadies would light his fags and place a drink in his hand. What a songwriter though but another rock and roll booze casualty I'm afraid.

According to Amazon UK, new single and album in September!

You of so little faith!!

This was very good news to return to from my vacation.

(Of course this could be an elaborate hoax by some Amazon hacker....)

I'm not sure I believe the exact release date though. I mean that's pretty damn soon. HOLY SH*T, I CAN COUNT THE DAYS!!!

Now then, which one of us is gonna sacrifice himself in the musical jihad and kidnap an MTV VJ till they play the new video?
