i called the celeb. theatre, and they didn't have any dates confirmed for him, anyone know anything? maybe a different place??

I believe the Web Theatre is closed. I've been downtown to see the Diamondbacks and I've noticed the Web sign was taken down and I've heard no events mentioned lately. Have you noticed Aug 9 is still a open date on Celebrity Theatre's website... there are events the day before and the day after. They must be leaving that date open for "someone" else. I still think the Mesa Amp. is the best venue to see Moz (remember Kill Uncle?)... too bad it's f**king 110 degrees outside right now!

I missed the Strokes, but saw Peter Murphy at the Mesa Amp. a long time ago with the House of Love....that makes me old I guess. Anyway...the Mesa Amp. sucks, like all outdoor venues in AZ. This heat sucks.....
