In the long-running Manchester-based soap, 'Corrie', on the wall of Mike Baldwin's knicker factory "Underworld", is a postcard of the gorgeous Morrissey (You know the picture- the rather over exposed picture of Morrissey showing his nipples and elbow raised to his ear, by Eamonn McCabe). It's just above the machine where the girls clock out I think.

A nice touch I think, given that Morrissey has been a fan and put coverstar Pat Pheonix on 'Shakespeare's Sister'.

And of course there is the link with Jo O'Keefe (from the Southbank Show special) now writing scipts for the show.

I get ridiculously excited over things like this too, well actually I get positively apoplectic if truth be known. I dont watch corrie per se but you know in, on, at, other things I'm ridiculous, a laughing stock one could well argue, I went to pub the other week and walked into the bar where I knew NO-ONE and this Charming man was playing, I immediately squealed with delight and joyous geeker glee and started to, well, I can only describe it as wriggle and sing stupidly loudly and I suspect off key... I'm sick, I need help, but I'm aware of it where once I was not, so you know maybe I'm growing as a person, or at least as a nutter of a nerd?!
