There's a program on BBC1 i think called "covered" or something like that, any way, it a program were bands play one of there latest hit's then follow with a cover version. As you'd expect the bands are usually quite boring and the covers are of uninteresting songs, or at least to me they are.

On last nights show, The doves covered "Please, Please, Please, let me get what i want. I didn't particually think it was a great cover version and i'm no great fan of the doves but it was still interesting to see.

mm. I think you mean Doves. There's another band called The Doves, but it's Doves you does the Smiths cover.
