I'm a former fan club member, a certified one time nutty fan who knew/ knows all the lyrics to all the B-sides and who still rates Dog Man Star as the finest LP ever recorded.

I enjoyed Coming Up and think it is a really, really good pop album, with some heartbreaking melodies that Suede were once so good at. When Head Music came out I rushed out the door and bought it...

And it was crap. Utterly indefensibly, offensively bad - one of the worst albums ever ever ever. His voice is shite on it, the lyrics are appalling, and the songs are often tuneless (Asbestos and Head Music are among the two worst songs ever written). I could spend pages on why this album deserved its frosty reputation - why it lost them so many fans and why the singles went in the charts at number 23 for one week. The LP killed them because it was pish - and I'll be damned if I'm going back for more.

On the new DVD collection you can hear a preview of the new single 'Positivity'.

I'm sad to announce it sounds like Travis. With crap lyrics.

In other words: it's fucking dreadful.
