Has Morrissey ever mentioned Dorothy Parker as an influence. I'm pretty sure he'd be a fan, but i never saw him mention her before. I also wonder if the first words from her short story "Sentiment" which are "Oh, anywhere, driver, anywhere- it doesn't matter. Just keep driving" could be partial basis for "There is a light..."
