At the end of 'Satan rejected my soul', is Morrissey paying his dues to Mrs Doyle of Channel 4's top Irish sitcom 'Father Ted'?

Just saw Morrisey's appearance on Chris Evan's show (Dec '97?), and he's definitley singing 'go on, go on, go on....'

Perhaps so! That was around the time when the saying was pretty popular, wasn't it? Then it all went horribly wrong with the god-awful Mrs Doyle inland revenue adverts.

It would have been far more amusing if he'd taken Father Jack's catchphrase of 'Feck! Drink! Girls!' eh?
