Great little picture of Ricky Gervais and his sidekick, Stephen Mitchell holding up a copy (each) of Strangeways Here We Come.. and singing the praises of the album as a focal point when they met for the first time.. and realised they had similar tastes..
They both co-wrote the fabulous 'Office'.. Which was cool enough, and nice to see they've got musical credibility as well as a sense of humour!
Their show on XFM is unmissable. Saturday afternoons till 3.. tune in and drop out.

Do you know if the Office is out or will be released on video or DVD anytime soon? Only I have a brother that's been in Australia for six months and it would do him good to see it to prevent him from being comically retarded when he gets back.

Not sure what the plans are.. They're writing a new series that I do know and the old Office stuff was repeated on UK Play, or BBC Choice recently. That was funnier second time around. If you have ever worked in an office it all there.. the dead-beats, the ego's, the sexual tension, the pointless hours, the inane humour. Rather like here really.
And you should get an award trying to stop your comically retarded broher back up to speed. Have you told him 'Just Good Friends', and 'Dads Army' are no more yet?
