Reviewing a tape that I've just rediscovered in my collection of Morrissey sat at the piano on Jool Holland's 'Later' show (I think from 1995, around Southpaw time) (Moz sang Boy Racer and Sunny in that show), I have just noticed that Jools in his very fast voice spoke of his admiration for Morrissey's suit, he says something like ".... a very lovely suit....looking like Stanley Baker there." To which Morrissey said (approx) "Yes, he left it to me when he died" . Until I saw "Hell is a City" recently I hadn't realised who Stanley Baker was. He does look rather like Baker doesn't he?

...Moz DOES look alarmingly like Stanley Baker (seen him in Zulu?).

Baker was born in the same village I was - Ferndale in Wales, very much a local hero in his day....
