Lloyd Cole has stepped out of the 'Where Is He Now' files to appear at Leeds City Varieties (Home of 1970's BBC TV series The Good Old Days)on March 7th.

Another 80's throwback Billy Bragg has a new album out on March 4th called England, half English. England, half English is also a single due to be released early next month - it sounds a lot like Billy Braggs version of the Ian Dury classic 'Billericky Dickie'. The song also has a reference to Morrissey.
Ive only heared the album once but I can say it's not a bad album and it's worth listening to.

I should be meeting Lloyd at the Islington Chapel on 9th March.. WIll try and get an interview. Buy his boxed set with the Negatives stuff on.. has that lilting subtle jingle jangle guitar on that Johnny Marr left behind with the Smiths!

Has Billy still got it though? His latter stuff with Wilco I found quite dull.. He is a great artist though.. but I'll remember him best for his political stance and protest songs in the 80's.. (william Bloke was good too!)
