View Full Version : An appology from Mr.Proper
Mr.Proper January 29, 2002, 02:09 AM Hello
I am posting here to say sorry for all the mean things I have been saying. I have come to the conclusion that my "act" as Mr.Proper (for it was an act) may have been more harmful than it was funny. It was my original intention to rasise everyone's hackles a bit, and have a laugh. This soon degenerated into what I now see as downright filth, and I have decided to clean up my act. I am truly sorry.
As some of you know, I have been through a lot. I have still not fully recovered from the the severe trauma I suffered as a part of my role in 'Desert Storm", and the ongoing PTSD has made my personality wildly unstable. I don't mean to make excuses for myself though, and like any good American, I take responsibility for my actions.
Firstly, let me appologise for all the lwed implications I made about having carnal knowledge of your mothers. I am embarased to think what my own dear mother would have though if she had read the things I wrote. I love my mother, and I'm sure you all love your own mothers too. Sorry.
Russ T - I appologise for all the mean things I said about you. I'm sorry. i don't think you look like a donkey's ass, or whatever it was I said.
REGAN is regan - I am sorry I told you to kill yourself. I, too, havebattled with severe depression, and can't believe how hurtful i was for the sake of a cheap laugh. I haven't seen you back here since I said those things, and can only pray that you're OK.
SimplyThrilledHoney. Sorry for saying I hope you get cancer and die. It was insensitive and hope you realise I didn't mean it.
Fabricio -I will no longer hassle your musical tastes, even if they do tend towards the crap nu-metal I so despise.
Laura & Suzanne. I have learnt to applogise, to let go of my anger, and to love. Please, for my sake, and the sake of the others on the board, learn to do the same.
That's all .... again, I am so very very sorry for the amount of pain I have caused. I am also sorry for the disrepute I have bought Morrissey as a result of using this baord for my own vulgar ends. I have been through the fire these last few days, but have come out the end a new, better man.
Love and respect,
Josh
aka "Mr.Proper"
Alexander the swoose (half a swan-half a goose) January 29, 2002, 03:25 AM What pain are you talking about? Don't be ridiculous, and go to hell, you and you mom. You're just scared, that's the only reason for this idiocy you have wrote. Who cares about you anyway? FUCK YOU.

hey nony nony January 29, 2002, 03:46 AM Apology accepted my good man. Even though you did not mention me by name... Rest assured I shall always treasure the times we have shared . You are and shall always be,my Guru.
Grim January 29, 2002, 08:59 AM I hope Josh that you have shaken off that so called 'humour', for everyones sake. I'm glad to see that you are man enough to apologize & have realised the hurtful things that you have said & done & the silly role model that you created for the one or two more gullible members of this community. I along with quite a few others will no doubt be slightly sceptical about your posted apology, I think it will take a while to earn some respect, but keep it up & we will all be able to put those demons behind us.
Good luck.

Christopher Keating January 29, 2002, 08:53 PM It's always puzzled me, this. Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought people who were into Morrissey and The Smiths were, by nature, sensitive and thoughtful people. Reading some of the responses posted by 'Mr Proper' left me wondering what sort of person would say such dreadful things. He once posted a comment about my own mother which I ignored. I thought it best not to get involved in a 'battle of words' or to bring myself down to his level.
Although it may seem obvious to the majority of (sensitive) people, saying things about people's mothers can be very dangerous. I mean, does he even realise that the 'mothers' to which he refers to may not even be alive? Did that ever cross his mind? If someone had lost their mother and then had to read such a comment, it would be devastating for them.
There's too much pain in this world. Let there be love.
CHRIS KEATING (Manchester, England).
SimplyThrilledHoney January 29, 2002, 09:51 PM > There's too much pain in this world. Let there be love.
Too right ..... I was the same. Up until I stumbled on this board, I always thought Moz/Smiths fans were kind, sensitive souls. The amount of sniping and bitching on this site amazed me. I'm guessing that a lot of the people who use this site are quite young, and perhaps haven't had the life experience to realise that abusing someone isn't the smart way of making people think you're cool. It's so much easier to abuse people in a medium like this, where you don't have to look them in the eye or hear their voice. You just press a button, and ... wham .... the flame hits home, with no affect on the flamer.
Oh well ...... *some* of us try to make this board a better, friendlier place.

-Such as mine, and it was painful. I deeply resent David allowing this vulgar insane person to keep posting here, and those who thought his posts humorous and 'egged' him on.
I don't believe him, and I think he will continue to assault our senses with his commemnts. He is a dangerous person who needs psychological/psychiatric help.
To allow him to post here is unforgiveable.

And yet, in last week's poll about whether the board should be censored, the vote was widly in favour of a "free for all" approach rather than any form of moderation. I think Grim O'Grady and myself were the only people to post in favour of some kind of moderation/censorship. Free speech is all well and good, but I don't want this baord turning into "Lord of the flies".

I wouldnt be doing my job as an honets citizen if i did it any other way. Just becuase your mothers are dirty whores,is no reason to get angry with me. you should be prousd that they have decided this lifestyle for them. you should be thankful i gave them all the money the received til now or you wouldnt have eaten. Be thankful that your moms are all good andf that I am your dad.
josh white(aka mr proper) January 29, 2002, 10:42 PM Cry me a river dirty slut. who givea a crap about your slutty whore mom anyways? no one. I am mr.proper and your not. I think I banged your mom before she kicked the bucket. She told me that you were a spoiled little brat who took all her stuff(except her $$ I got all that). You should be ashamed for being so selfish. it's not often we come across a woman as talented as your very own mum. As for your opinion of me,who gives a hoolie hoo hoo anyways rimjob? your just the sh.it out of my ass after i eat yoshinoya.
josh white(aka mr proper) January 29, 2002, 10:44 PM What should puzzle you even more is how your parents had something that looked the way you do?? just because you learned how to climb out of the bag after the failed abortion that had is no reason to jump off on me. who knows, your mom probably is a whore? dont be sad,be glad thats the life she has chosen. Thanks for getting involved in the discussion rimjob.
josh white(aka mr proper) January 29, 2002, 10:46 PM Me? apologise?? I think not. Mr.Proper don't apologise to noone for nothing!! but thanks for the encouraging words,it's nice to know i have some fans. Mr.Proper in da hizzity houze with your moms beeyatch

You need to apologise to me for looking the way you do. Just because i have had sex with your mom and will continue to do so,is no reason to jump off on me. I love your mom. Thats my job though, just telling it like it is,and im telling you, your mom gives the best rimjobs I've ever had. She said she learned it from all the "john's" she's done in her life, what a woman she is. I think your mom should be commended for her hard work and constant leg spreading of years past. Be proud your moms a whore,I am.

Yes, it IS all well and good. Fuck people like you who pronounce words like these and in the previous sentence vote for "some sort of moderation".

I don't think that freedom of speech is supposed to protect the rights of people who have nothing better to say than "I fucked your mom". Freedom of speech is there to protect healthy debate and stop people being opressed for their beliefs.
Surely the poster ------ has as much right to *not* be offended by vulgar slurs against his deceased mother than some wanker hiding behind a computer has to make these sorts of slurs in the first place. Even in your so-called "land of the free" (because I can only assume you're American), with your constitution protecting free speech, there are still libel, slander and obscenity laws to stop this sort of stupid behaviour.
It's all about balance .....

Yeah so did I. It's amazing how many completely insane people post on here. Do they actually even listen to Morrissey? I just ignore it all, why give them an audience. That's what they want after all. I can never understand why people waste their time replying to them.
I'd love to see how they behave in "real life" though. Now that would be entertaining. They're probably little lambs.

I really don't think they care what people think about them. They get their kicks doing it. Or maybe they think they are the stars of the board, and that everyone secretly thinks they're hysterical, who knows. They must have pretty empty lives. I feel sorry for them sometimes.

So true. People become really tough behind their computers. It's funny because I always imagine Mr. Proper as a 13 year old kid freckled kid eating spaghettio's and wearing a baseball cap. He's probably 30 years old though. heheh.

Of course I don't know yeat. What the hell is "yeat"?
Maddy January 30, 2002, 01:26 AM Guess you have not been on this bored for a long while. This place is full of people with serious personality and mental disorders and a great many are on medication for this problem. A relative few are "normal".
Speaking of Mr. Proper, the person is a sad one. When he's 60 all he'll have is his posts 40 years ago. No kids/no wife/no gf/bf. Just himself and his posts on Moz solo message bored. Sensitive? He's severely disturbed to put it mildly. He told a suicidal person to KILL HIMSELF. This is not a joke either.
And Mr. Proper, I GUARANTEE you read this post of mine because of the subject line so I got you there. We all know about your home life. And what went on in your home when you were a kid. We know it must have been difficult to see your mom with so many men. Day in and day out. Your posts point to EXACTLY where you went wrong. It's too bad your father abandoned you. It's too bad your mother was not on eto settle with one man. She had to have many men to satisfy her needs/fetish. But if you face the truth and move on from there, you may be able to leave this bored and make a useful life for yourself. Maybe counsel prostitutes this way you can always feel close to your mother in some way. Or councel runaways so you can feel closer to your father.
In grad school, we laugh at people like you. We are compassionate, but we thank GOD we don't "personally" know people such as yourself.

LoafingOaf January 30, 2002, 05:09 AM The problem with Internet speech is that people don't have to sign
their names to what they say. If the site required us to sign our
names, or register with our real names in some way, the problem is
solved. I realize there are reasons people want anonymity, and *some*
of those reasons are legit. But I would not object to registering
and signing my name. I briefly went thru a phase of putting
my real name under each post, but I was the only one doing it, so
I stopped. Some forums I participated in on Compuserve in the early '90s
thru the mid-'90s required a name and had debates and discussions at a higher level than I've seen anywhere else on the Internet. By that I don't mean they were "nice"; it's simply that people care more about what they are saying
when they have to put their name behind it.
It may not be needed. Mr. Proper does us the favor of always (to
my knowledge) posting under the same screen name. This means I have simply
skipped 99.99% of his messages. When a thread is huge, I dip in,
as here. Although he is more than a minor nuisance (and embarassment
to the Morrissey fanbase), I don't feel it's reached the point where he needs to be ousted. The majority getting together to vote people off the board is
not a path I'd support taking.
And to people who feel comments by Mr. Proper about their mother, etc.,
can be "devastating," come on, get some skin.

Well, yes, judging by your contributions to the forum, I can understand
why you'd be ashamed to sign your name to what you say.
It's fine with me if people want to be anonymous...so they can be
fantasy characters and whatnot. But I've participated in forums
where people do sign their names and they worked fine.
